Steak By Night

Great experience, great food with good portion sizes, great customer service and staff were so friendly and kind, the guy at the bar welcomed me in even though I didn't book a table nor was dressed smart as it was a hot day, the young girl with long blonde hair was all smiles and welcoming, the woman that was waiting my table (Lisa) was kind and helpful, and the young man with dark hair was making jokes and was a great addition to the great service. I was surprised the new management is the same as vesuvio as I had a horrible experience there lately and lost me as a regular, staff over there are very rude. So it was refreshing to see that the staff at Steak by Night is much, much better. I think the staff made all the difference and deserve a raise for that level of service, which encouraged me to tip as well. Thank you!

Steak was cooked to exactly how I asked. Garlic Bread was fab. Staff were lovely and prices were reasonable. Tried to go again after a gig in the arena a few weeks ago but was closed as it was a Monday. Would recommend and visit again.

SBN is rather hit and miss nowadays. A few years ago when it was under different management the food they made was very consistent.

Mixed grill is very nice, and the garlic bread is very tasteful. Sometimes (funnily enough) the steak is a bit gristly though.
If they went with better sourced meat (possibly dry aged? 👀) then it could be a 4/5 or even a 5/5.

Fist time I've been here in years. Internal seating has changed, there are no booths anymore.
Food was outstanding.
It's been taken over by the same people who have Maderia on the kingsway.
Great menu selection, you can have a 3 course meal.
Ladies toilet has not the best lock, bit confusing how to unlock it and when I was there a woman was locked in and was banging on the door foe a while before anyone realised where the noise was coming from.
Friendly staff.
Reasonably priced.
Good selection of alcohol.

Absolutely brilliant, food was beautiful, quite a large portion for me so couldn't eat it all, I had Chicken Al Pepe, very nice, staff were brilliant even after I knocked my fruit juice over, lovely atmosphere and won't break the bank.

Lovely ambience, friendly staff. The cuisine was outstanding. Definitely a go back to resteraunt
