1st visit to meet friends we haven't seen for a long time.
Pleasant enough inside and staff friendly.
We all had the breaded mushrooms to start. They were very hard, unable to push a fork through unless you held them with your fingers., everyone's were the same, a bit over done I think. Main was ok the pulled beef was delicious but some of the fries were very crispy a tad over cooked.

I was told that there was no bar and the only drinks we could have were out of the fridge I settled for wine instead then we waited thirty minutes for our starter's but they didn't materialised. Our mains arrived and when we asked about our starter's the server said what shall I do? Shall I go and get them for you we declined because we didn't want a cold main course. As I finished my meal, my partner was still eating hers the server cleared my plate and asked me if I wanted the bill. Not if we wanted any afters or more drinks. Spoke to the manager but to no avail!!!!!!.

Good food which is what you expect at a Beefeater. Nice restaurant with a good setting. Disappointing service. Felt completely ignored and had to ask to order drinks, then ask to order food as nobody came to take our order.

Loved the mixed grill, just enough without being too much. Rest of the family also enjoyed. Made even better with the money off vouchers you get sent by Beefeater now and then.

Excellent food and staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was piping hot and there was a nice atmosphere. Quite busy which was actually nice to see. It would have been a little better if they had kept the second door shut rather than propped open as when people walked in there was a rush of cold air through the restaurant. Overall though, excellent and we will return.

I've not been here for quite a while (probably 2-3 years because of lockdown) but spec in for some food recently as I wanted somewhere local and fancied a change in menus.

We arrived on a Sunday afternoon. The restaurant was fairly quiet and we gor a table straight away. I did note that staff were not wearing masks.

We had a few small issues with our order - ice came in drinks that were ordered without, corn on the cob was missing from one of my children's meals and I ordered fried instead of chunky chips but chunky arrived.

The kids meals were ok, but both of them had pizzas and one was very burnt, as you can see from the photo which meant that she wouldn't eat it.

Overall good service and food bit the attention to detail was lacking.
