I have been staying in Bromley for the past 1 month. At first I was a little doubtful about this place, since it is not crowded unlike other places.
But now I am enjoying this place. This place has many parks. You can find a park for every one mile. People who want to stay near trees and parks adore this place. Mile End Park is also just 15 walkable from here.
There are a couple of Asian grocery shops as well around the Devons Road and most of the items from groceries to vegetables and fruits are available here.
And a lot of these grocery shops are also PayZones (those who use Smart Pay as You go meter). Sainsbury and Tesco are also a couple of minutes away.
There are only few cafes and eat-in food shops, but they are good. So no need to worry about Food and Groceries.
And Santander Cycle points are also available with in reach. So cycling is also a good option here.
323 bus is available for every 15 minutes to go Mile End. 108 bus is also available to go to Stratford.

Basic Underground station the ticket barriers at this station are always open. I never see any staff around. The outside of the station has had a refurbishment and looks a lot better.

Clean station but lacks if security and reinforcement of the law. The e-scooters are banned. However, people still use them early in the morning. Also, massive groups of students gather occasionally in front of the station, and sometimes, they become a threatening cohort.
The lift is functional on both platforms.
The help point is functional as well.

Clean and tidy station that often has the barriers open so you can quickly hop through. Almost no staff on which is also a great sight, which means you can have a tin or two. Has the district line and Hammersmith, the entrance is super busy as it’s on a major fly over road.

Two minuets from the river which is great and a good point to get off and have a wonder along the river in general.

There seems to be never any staff at the station so let's hope you don't need any help. Served by the District and Hammersmith and City lines. Entrance is from the busy A12 and isn't the best road to walk along unless you want to fill your lungs with exhaust fumes.

The stations is above ground, well lit and clean. Gets very busy during school start and end times. There is lift access to the platform from the ticket office level.

An alright station. I have used this station for three years. It is rarely staffed but they are friendly when present. Served by Hammersmith and District lines, so you will find that you won't have service every other weekend. More the fault of TfL overall than the station itself but whatever. No toilet facilities. No cash accepted at top up machines.
