Real quality food and attractively packaged but as you would expect generally a bit more expensive than most supermarkets although a few great deals can be found sometimes. There has been many gaps in the shelves in recent months the most consistent being the nicely priced loaves of bread although oddly other bakery items such as the wonderfully varied selection of hot cross buns is usually piled high. The bizarre shortage of loaves of bread is the only reason I have not awarded five stars because everything is good about this store.

I was in store recently and 4 staff members were more bothered about standing at the customer service desk, looking at something on a mobile phone rather than serving customers. Multiple customers with trolleys having to use the self checkout, with no checkouts open. When I asked a member of staff if they should open a checkout, they said it wasn't busy. I think most people can see from the photo that it was busy, as all of these people were waiting to pay. Very lazy staff and poor management, I think this will be the last time I shop at M&S.

Deepdale Retail Park, Preston.
Waste of time store run by amateurs.
Everything of a 42" waist in tailored shorts or trousers was out of stock
Staff not helpful at all.
So went for a coffee in the store cafe 2pm on a Tuesday afternoon... only to be told they had run out of filter coffee!
Seriously?? The cafe running out of coffee!!
A complete shambles of a store, must be run by lazy inept management.
M & S used to be the ' go to " store for service and quality...not any more sadly.

Absolute waste of a visit. Waited for ages in the cafe for food only to be told none available so couldn’t eat at all due to limited diet, then had to wait again for a refund. Mens clothing department very small and staff not really helpful. Will not be visiting again.

The cafe is very inadequate, 2 staff at a very busy lunch time, couldn't get tuna mayo for jacket potato, no serviettes told to rip a piece of kitchen roll, potato came like warm, not a nice experience for £19

Hardly any choice of clothes. What made it worse was the lady on the checkout who was completely patronising. Waste of time going here. Sort it out M&S!

1st time we have been to M & S cafe at Deepdale last week. Lovely experience. Great food choices for lunch, good portion size and fair price. the staff were very helpful and were keeping up as it was very busy at lunch time, we will be back soon. My hubby loved his cheese and ham toasty xx♥️
