When a booking was made for two we were told there is a savoury afternoon tea or a sweet afternoon tea. One had sausage rolls & pork pies and one just cake, but neither had sandwiches. It turns out, when we got there, the sweet afternoon tea did include sandwiches. So we ordered this for two. We were told they had not received their normal sandwich order, however they put two sandwiches together. I found some of the bread a bit dry. The coffee, small soup and selection of cakes were nice, but in my opinion not worth £20 (for two people sharing). The staff on duty were very nice.

We only visited the cafe but it was really disappointing. They had run out of the dish that I ordered for my daughter so asked me to swap my choice. I had to swap from fish and chips to fish fingers which was £3 cheaper but no refund was offered at all for the difference in price. It took over 30 minutes to get any food and it was uncomfortably hot in the cafe even though it was fairly cool outside.

What a gem of a supermarket! The atmosphere is lovely and there is a lot of choice. Think more Waitrose rather than Aldi. The different counters offer a lot of choice. Maybe not to do your weekly shop if you are on a budget, (although we found some excellent bargains) but for a treat, this is the perfect place to visit.

First visit to Booths, mainly for bacon sandwiches a pot of tea and some coffees. I was wheeling my brother in his wheelchair and the lift was not working but Norma, who was just going on her break, escorted us through staff quarters ,via a service lift, to the cafeteria. Thank you Norma A. The bacon sandwiches were very good as were our drinks. They were exceptional value when Kathryn M used a Booths card to apply a discount for us. Thank you Kathryn M. I must get a Booths card for our next visit. Escorted again downstairs and finally, a bit of shopping in the well set out and stocked supermarket to the checkout. Served of course by Norma A. 👍👍👍

Nice easy shopping,, plenty of space but lots of choice, not the cheapest but good quality. Bacon and sausage sarnis are good especially if you have a Booths card. Save on paper and get your bill sent to your email address.

We shop and eat here regularly and so it is with regret that today's experience was very disappointing.
3 items were more expensive at the till than advertised on the shelf.
2 we discovered on returning home and 1 could not be explained by the assistant & so we returned it to the shelf.
In addition to this, the cafe is clearly short-staffed as our table was filthy and was not cleaned until we were leaving.
If only the seasonal Turkey pastry I ordered had lived up to its vivid description on the Blackboard, but sadly it did not.
To top it all, the toilets were absolutely disgusting.
You are supposed to be an upper-end supermarket, but you need to do better, it'll be sometime before we revisit ...if at all.

Few staff around. As usual not all of the self service tills we're working. Last Saturday lunch time only one of the four were working. I try to avoid Booths whenever possible.

Always well stocked with an impressive array of products some of which are difficult to find elsewhere. Great quality and service. An enjoyable store to visit. There are often new products, too.
