Tesco Express

I am just about to write a detailed complaint to Tesco's head office. This is absolutely unacceptable what they do over there. Every single member of staff are really rude and awful, zero customer service experience skills. Always slow serving.. miles long queuing. Never enough people on tills. Always stocking shelf at busiest time. Expecting you to wait.. Anytime i go to buy baguettes in the morning, they always say 25-30 min... if you are opening 7am you should be serving all your goods at 7am. Not to asking customers to come back....

THE WORST TESCO I HAVE EVER BEEN TO! I was queuing up the other day and the person in front of me was at the till and there was only 1 person serving at the time- The person in front of me had a full trolley of items which was going to take some time to scan and bag - After about 2 minutes the person serving finally rang the bell to call for more staff to the till, after 20 seconds no one came so I asked him to ring it again, as he rang it I watched staff completely ignore it, I said please ring it again, still nothing - About 3 minutes later , out came a staff member by the name of "Loges"- he didnt seem to have a care in the world as he seemed to tap the floor with his feet as he was casually coming over in order to slow himself down and just annoy everyone waiting even more - what shocked me was that he was carrying a HOT cup of coffee in a mug without a top on while walking to the till and nearly spilled it all over a lady he bumped into, he didn't even say sorry. I then asked him why it had taken nearly 5 minutes for a staff member to help out on the till, the only answer I received was a laugh and a smirk. Not only are your staff members rude , they lack basic communication skills and do not know how to run the shop. Whenever I go there they are always stock stacking and they leave big cages which are always in the way of items you need to get to. For the past year there has been an awful smell in the shop which apparently the staff members say they "dont know where it is coming from" I have to cover my nose while shopping there and have seen others do the same. I only ever go here if I have to - There are 4 check out tills but only 3 of them have been working for at least 5 years so there is always a long queue. Tescos sort out this shocking store!

The staff at this store are extremely helpful, they help elderly and disabled people with numerous issues they may have (like shelf height ect) every time I have visited this store I have received help via my basket being carried for me, help with my shopping, packing my shopping in the bag at the back of my wheelchair. I have never had any problems here staff are polite, caring, helpful, very well dressed and always happy to assist in any way needed. Thank you to all staff
If you don’t visit the store regularly you may see what you project from yourself, I’ve NEVER seen/heard/had any type of issues. Some items could be improved but it’s not the staffs fault they are just doing what they are told to do and the staff are underpaid for the work they do, if you have an issue with the prices I suggest that you contact head office please don’t take it out on the staff here. I’m a disabled 33yrs old with two kids and this store is such a great store. I have never been treated anywhere the way I’m treated here. They deserve a pay raise and other stores should take note of how they do things here

Always think my partner and I r stealing very rude at all times completely and utterly hate this Tesco I am going straight to customer service as we speak…and if u also notice all the reduced items that are out are always bread and pork products…..im here all the time and no for a fact there is more than pork and bread products that go out of date….because a lot of the products run out very quickly !!!!!something needs to be done asap

One of the workers was coughing his guts up when I went in a few days ago. I think he might be new as I hadn't seen him before. He actually coughed in my face as I was next to him. It was absolutely disgusting, this was near the fruit and veg aisle. I haven't been back since!

For the third time this week they have been closed from 9am till around either 11 or noon for “restocking” i’ve worked in retail myself this is usually done before the business opens or while business is operational during quiet periods. even while in there you can see that some staff are stocking shelves while also others are just faffing around.

There is either a lack of staff enthusiasm or work ethic or just both it’s coming down from a managerial position because the operational closing and opening times for Tesco’s I’ll believe seven till 11 yet these operational hours are not in effect and I’ve been followed

Nasty staff, cages and shelve-stocking going on all the time whilst people are shopping - having problems to get to the items on shelves because the rude staff are in your way with those big cages not once saying sorry or anything. They never hold any small talk with you, give you dirty looks sometimes or are just awful to interact with if they do interact. The staff is the worst aspect of this shop in my view.

My Nan was stopped twice and accused of shoplifting just because another customer “saw something!” Baring in mind she is an elderly lady who would never steal (They stopped her without even checking the security cameras) On other occasions the staff have been rude and they lack customer service skills. Extremely disappointing!
