Morrisons

Great afternoon shopping. Bought Xmas gifts, birthday gifts and a wedding present all with good knockdown prices!! And they had good offers on the beer which is always a bonus!! Very happy customer 😃

Nice store. Often quiet, so easy to navigate. Prices reasonable. Deli/hot food counter, bakery and salad bar are my favourite aspects of the store. Feels more like a market, than a giant corner shop, which a lot of supermarkets feel like.

Loving shopping at Morrisons, as live in France, so good to get some great British produce. Good quality as ever and well stocked shelves. As much as the supermarkets in France are good you can't beat a Morrisons ☺

This is my local Morrisons and I really enjoyed going there before the pandemic and before the company got sold off, it’s so convenient and there were lots of good staff there. Since the pandemic I have discovered Aldi and haven’t really looked back.

I only go to Morrisons for items I can’t get elsewhere and it’s in walking distance so it’s easy to quickly nip out to get a few bits and pieces.

Prices have risen drastically at Morrisons and their loyalty scheme is a bit of a joke compared to something like ASDA rewards. It’s still present enough to walk around and I know where most items are.

It’s big selling point is that it has the best supermarket cafe in Hinckley, it’s big and well laid out and has a good selection of food, I particularly like their cakes, the best of the best is the lumpy bumpy cake, try one if you see one, they are great.

Since they added the one way exit road onto Stoke Road, it has helped to ease some of the congestion when getting in and out of the car park.

The products are fantastic but when it’s advertised saying that they will prepare a whole salmon all I got was a huff this isn’t the first time everything is a hassle for the fishmonger. If they are that unhappy doing what they are paid for then they would be better off changing job .

Went in for the first time as recently moved to the area.
Did my shop which totalled £86 and went to the checkout. No manned tills so had to use self service.
First item I scanned and placed on scales and it needed checking apparently. Waited an inappropriate amount of time for someone to come. I couldn't even see anyone around to get their attention.
That was dealt with eventually and I got on with the rest of my scanning.
Bagged and paid.
There was a staff member that seemed to be watching me and I approached him to ask if he could remove a tag on an item of clothing.
I handed him the receipt as I know they have to check this. I pointed it out and he continued to check the receipt and asked if I'd scanned my bags.
I had. I don't steal and was a little put out that I had no option but to scan my own goods out and was then questioned over it.
He wasn't particularly friendly and it put me and my middle aged mardiness in a bit of a bad mood!
Think I'll stick with Asda.

Love it here, they do a lovely range of Northern foods .. cheeses and pies...the bakery is amazing, good butchery and fishmonger

I was not happy with the service in the cafe in Morrisons the pie was rock hard but I asked for mash but I got yesterday's chips they was heard as nails but she said they ran out of stuff so they gave me chips which I didn't enjoy so I made her make a another cup of tea for making me wait but I will not be back in there again until they have got hat to together this in Hinckley branch p.s and the floor was very dirty and food and mud was on the floor the cleaner must be in the back of the wherehouse smoking as they all do I will be taking this further many thanks.
