I had a trolley full to scan !!! What is happening !!!!!
The staff who were on the checkouts were helping people to self checkout.
Systems kept asking for staff, bags of shopping were on the floor as the trolleys were still being emptied to scan.
Had I been on my own I would have walked out leaving my £175 weekly shop, that would have made me the 4th person in 10mins to do so.
My partner took over, the scanner kept asking for staff intervention Staff member Debbie stepped in and checked out the rest of the trolley. God bless her for that. I have applied for a Tesco's club card.
Fuming with Asda. False economy. People matter!!!!! Open the tills!!!!!!!!!
David Jones. 👎👎👎
Sadly, Asda have jumped onto the same bandwagon as most supermarkets and have increased their prices in most cases from 20p to £1.50 per item in just over 2 weeks. I know things are difficult, but I believe these massive increases cannot be justified. As a result, having done a price check comparison we are now only buying 20% off our weekly shop from Asda compared to 90% last week. I can buy cheaper products at the same quality from Lidl. Sorry Asda but you here's one regular shopper that will buy elsewhere, as I'm now saving £40 weekly!
I get my petrol from their onsite station because it is always the cheapest in a five mile radius of my home.
We had for the past 11 years used Asda for at least 90% of our weekly shop. The store has a large range of goods for the home, clothing, music and DVDs, household appliances, magazines and newspapers, greetings cards and of course food. The staff are friendly and very helpfull.
Some annoyances I have are that very often stock levels are either very low or out of stock completely. Sometimes, aisles are obstructed by groups of staff members moving stock to the front of the shelves which not only makes it difficult getting down the aisle but also to goods. They would achieve more if there was one staff member in each aisle facing up!
