Nice shopping experience. Excellent bakery selection and lots of quality fresh products, all at good prices.

Speedy checkout with plenty of tills manned. Staff are always helpful and friendly, produce is usually fresh and very reasonably priced, with some great finds in the middle aisles and good offers on many essential products.

Great value for money. Always interesting to see what is in the middle of Lidl.

Update: beware if they open a till and suggest you switch over. They often open a till only to close it after only serving 1 or 2 customers. Happened to me today I was refused service at a till that had just opened and served just two customers with a tiny amount of items each. I had even been redirected from another queue by another member of staff. Very annoying as I was next in line in the original queue. This type of thing has happened a few times at this store.

Strongly consider staying in the queue you are in to avoid any possible friction of hopefully regaining your position in your initial queue when they play this trick on you.

Lidls are always a great place to shop. This one seems a bit bigger than the others i’ve visited but still has the usual layout. Plenty of parking with easy access.

Lidl is that big store with many items to choose from, at the original low price. Original because other stores actually label their products with 'lidl price match' tags. Don't need to type more.

We normally visit the Lidl in Shirebrook but on the last 3 visits there was no sugar free orange pop and upon asking the manager when there would be any available I received a couldn't care less reply of " I've no idea ".

Visiting the Chatsworth Road branch the whole store atmosphere was much better, the shelves were well stocked and altogether a pleasant experience.

A relatively new store and the layout is similar to others in the area. It is larger so it is a more pleasant shopping experience.

Just be a where that there is time limit on parking and if you take your time you will get a fine
