Morrisons

After having a huge refit the store is great. However, there is still a nasty smell in the air near the doors! I thought Morrison's had sorted the drains issue, but it appears not completely!
Otherwise, it's a great store and as a family we often shop here!

Big changes in store, some of them not for the better.
I popped into Morrisons after many months, and was surprised to see they have had a major makeover. There are lots of little fast food stalls, as you enter the shop, I found it a little confusing.
In order to construct these new facilities they have done away with the customer service area. As someone who has not been in this store for ages, I didn't know where to find certain things. I found a busy looking assistant, and asked her. She was helpful, but obviously busy.
I do wish they would reinstate the section with the fresh eggs, you used to be able to buy as few or as many you wanted with the cardboard egg trays provided. I would have thought that any scheme that prevents food wastage, was a top priority in these difficult times.

Always very good for meat and cakes. Store always clean staff helpful and usually well stocked with everything for the big weekly shop. My first choice when ever I run out of stuff or need that quick joint for a surprise roast.

The new Brew just in to the store on the right before the swing gates is an excellent addition to the store.

In the morning Charlotte makes the best coffee to order beverages.

Always friendly polite staff, willing to assist. Best coffee latte around. Food always good value.

Went there for bread and milk when close by. Decided to have lunch while there. Big mistake. Nearly one hour to be served soup, so gave up and got a refund, as did several other customers.

Nice big store, very quiet at 9:30 am. Didn't have any own brand puppy food in stock, which was what I specifically went there for.

Worst service ever, just now. Isle 10 cashier needs checking. Literally throwing our shopping down after scanning whilst talking over shoppers to the cashier at isle 9. I had to ask her to stop and get back to the job at hand. DAN TROTMAN, you need to look into this ignorance!!
