Sainsbury's Local

A good addition to the road and good competition for the Co-op further down. It doesn't have everything you need for a full shop but great for picking up a few small things and the meat/veg selection is good for a convenience store. Real positive is the parking round the back but only a few spaces in the day.

I went there a few days ago and was served by a young girl. I didn't ask for her name but she had purple hair. I just wanted to say that she has the BEST customer service skills that I've ever seen. She made me feel very welcome and comfortable, was nice and chatty, offered to pack my bag....I left the store smiling :)

I hope this message gets to the right people who are in-charge of giving her a raise as she definitely deserves one ;)

I always enjoy shopping here. The workers are always happy and give amazing customer service all round. If only they would stock more bagel thins because I always clear the shelves of them LOL!

I have been in here many times, the staff is friendly and the shop is always well stocked. Just wish it had more parking spaces 🙂

Decent small store. Has a a couple of parking spaces attached.

Overcharged me £9 on £30 worth of shopping and had to wait 15 mins while the so called Manager Claude tried to do a simple refund very badly .
Unapologetic and rude from Claude who asked me to step aside after handing me my refund .No apology or admission of error form him which would have been enough
A disgrace to sainsburys and their wonderful staff . I will complain to head office

Would like to thank Magda for her help this evening. I wanted something that was not on the shelf, Magda kindly stopped what she was doing and went to the back and found the item
I was looking for! She then also walked me over to the other item I wanted, very helpful and friendly. Thank you.
