Tesco Express

the staff that work there are the worst employees i have ever seen. the service isn't there. it is so terrible and they treat all the st john payne students awfully. make them line up outside, follow them around when they are eventually allowed in. don't give them any individuality at all. worst tesco to be put near a school.

Me and my wife visited there at 20:40 on Sunday the 15th of March at this branch. We had two basket at the till with full of foods and we met a gentleman called Daniel. My wife was behind me and I put the first basket in the till. As soon I put the basket at the till, That man in the till voiced, " why did you throw the basket toward me"?. I was absolutely shocked and surprised. I replied to him that, I didn't throw anything towards him, the basket was very heavy and there were 5/6 empty basket already in the till, I had to lift the basket a bit higher than normal. He just kept going on and on that, I have thrown the basket in the till. Then at this point, I asked him to leave the matter behind nicely but he still kept going on the whole matter at least twice. There were plenty of people behind , so me and my wife felt absolutely humiliated and patronised. I was absorbing the whole incident and was waiting when can I leave this place. I saw his name in his badge. We think this man is not fit for his work by upsetting people like that, rest is in your consideration.

Situated at broomfield parade. The parking here is horrendous at busy times, it's easier to park up the street adjacent.
A wide variety of products, they do tend to cost abit more than the supermarket, but the offers are generally the same.
Friendly staff.
Also has a small range of free from items for those with allergies and Intolerances.

Good staff but some products are more expensive than in a bigger store

Some street parking. Recent upgraded. Long opening hours. Due to size, limited stock and choice. Tesco prices and tesco clubcard. Two windows for cash so can be queues but there is card machines. Generally busy.

Was shocked and disgusted to see a member of staff working with her toddler today 23/08/22. When I asked the cashier if it was Bring a child to work day she told me she wasn’t in the mood and walked off when I approached her she continued to scream and shout at me. I was absolutely socked how very unprofessional

The shop is a very good size, has most things that you need if it’s an emergency, but unfortunately you’ve got a couple of crust is that hang outside and ask for money

It seems to get more expensive every week, more than the main shop
