Sainsbury's

The two items I wanted were out of stock so I got them at the co-OP instead. Met another customer with the same problem.

Staff here are all helpful & friendly,.However,of late the missing products are growing every day.The bakery has been out of action for about two weeks now.No fresh bread.My shopping list today had seven day to day items,four of which were out of stock.Fellow customers & myself wonder if Sainsbury head office are trying to run down this branch.Ongar is a small town,shopping else ware means at least a 1/2 hour drive,plus not everyone has a car.This has been a super,friendly local store,but what on earth are Head Office up too.? For the last 3/4 weeks the trolly shelter by the front store entrance has been littered with rubbish,papers,discount vouchers food wrappings.Its a complete disgrace.I`m sure if a Health Inspector saw it he would see red.This is a filthy area where customers go into before entering the store.Lord Sainsbury would have a fit if he saw it.

Great staff, always really helpful.

However they always seem to have great swathes of products out of stock and you can struggle to find even basic things when fully stocked.

Pleasant shop on the small side. Good selection of stock. Wasn't too busy. Managed to get what I wanted

Have been using this store for years. Dont know what is going on but things have gone downhill this year. Veg and fruit aisle is often missing basic items, ditto milk, pet food and general stock levels are poor. Only one or two checkout staff are operating when i go in forcing customers to use self checkout. These are always going wrong and out of 6 the most that are working are 4 and these fault frequently. Scanner on lottery counter never works properly causing delays and frustration. Best thing about this store is the staff they are excellent but they are visibly struggling its a real shame.

Not a great selection of products but ok for small shop. Queues at times are bad.

Not a big store but had everything you needed

Could make better use of the space.
The bulk buys section is silly to have in such a smaller store. It would be better to use the space to stock more necessities and varieties.

The Nast 3 times I have gone I have found the ready meals section half empty. I ended up going to the Tesco petrol station next door which is more than half the size but has double the variety.
