Iceland Supermarket Ashford

Great little store. Well stocked. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Used home delivery, very quick on the same day.

Good selection online as well.

Also good prices.

Their security at the door is so rude and obnoxious near closing time. The doors were shut before close; I overheard a lady asking to be let through to quickly get milk for her baby. He let her enter while replying “You had all day”. Absolutely uncalled for.

Had a delivery to tenterden Thursday just gone very polite well mannered friendly lady come to drop off my food but my release the door button to my flat wasn’t working properly so they was very patient waited for me to make my way down the stairs to open main door for them I didn’t catch their name otherwise I’d say who it was but hopefully they will do more deliveries to my address when I next do a shop with Icelands in ashford :)

Shopping here for a long time, but recently I can't bring myself to rate this place high. I understand things are going up etc, but how you're able to get away with reducing the quantity and/or quality of your food yet still charge the price the same, if not more, is baffling. I.e, one item has been reduced by 200mg yet still being charge the same price as when it was 1kg

I usually get a lot of our shopping done in Iceland on weekends and never had a bad experience, but never reviewed them. I went in today as usual and got the stuff we needed and then some, so it was quite heavy. One of the members of staff kindly offered home delivery but I thought I can handle it. So I queued up and the equally nice lady behind the till offered it again and pointed out that it is quite heavy. Its free, so I figured why not give it a go. She called someone to get the shopping and waited patiently while I picked up some things I forgot. I paid and got a 2 hour delivery slot as a rough guide (got a text later with 1 hour slot, very good) and was on my way. Food was delivered as advertised and the driver called once he dropped the food off. All in all a good experience I will probably use in the future.

Nice food store, prices are keen, and some unusual frozen foods are available. Iceland give Tesco and Sainsbury a run for their money in the frozen food area, and some others. Parking is available in Ashford town at a walk, and a Taxi rank nearby. Wheelchair access is good from the High Street. A very useful food store.

Great Service and colourful staff at checkout after a dreary day in January!!! Quick in and out very convenient!!

Good old Iceland food, but all the time we were there were only saw 2 members of staff. Security guy on the door, and 1 lady at the cash out. The queues to pay were really long and only one check out lady. Poor show.
