M&S Simply Food

I stopped today and needed assistance with a flat tyre. Jacob at the M&S till very kindly offered, giving me the change I needed from the till. He checked with his supervisor if he was able to come and help me, which he then did. He inspected my tyre, helped me test the pressure, filled with air, sought out the cause of my puncture and directed me to the best place to get it fixed. I followed his advice and he was absolutely right! Brilliant service and help from someone who genuinely cared and wanted to help someone who was panicking somewhat. THANK YOU!

Certain people has to get in the queue some doesn't. When I asked why is that they said everyone has to get in the queue but a couple front of me clearly didn't. They are must be so special.
I only had to wait couple minutes for breakfast menu as they wanted to charge me £6,60 instead of £4....I still love M&S but it was the worst experience.

Really let people down during COVID 19. Implemented the most ridiculous queuing system that did not increase safety at all, they dropped their opening hours so you were unable to get Petrol in the evening or morning. Even when open their staff are negligent and lazy. Toilet is always closed as it’s easier than cleaning it.

Can't thnk the shop assistant and her kind hearted partner tonght ..parked up after a very long drive with My kids n my wife we eat our sandwich but I stupidly left my lights on flattening the battery ..the shop assistant was so kind even tho she was leaving her and her boyfriend stayed to give me a jump start and see to my two children who both are autistic and suffer from anxiety. I can't thnku both enough you really are life savers ..I am so so greatful I wished I got ur names to pass on to the managers but please see they are givin My gratitude j.sims

The store has huge ranges of products comparing to other retail shops at similar location. It is clean and tidy. The shopfloor layout and marking helps to find certain isles easily. The prices and promotions were updated. The products were faced up to help customers find necessary items. The stuffs were helpful and welcoming. The food standards were good. There were many counters as well as occasional promotions. The queue were long, but around lunchtime it was expected.

There is no “no-dog” sign yet my mate got patronised by the manager who was very cheeky stating “we don’t need one it is common sense”. Anyway even if this review doesn’t speak to you then I assume the overall 2.4(at the time of writing this - I assume it’s lower by the time you read this) rating tells you all you need to know.

DO NOT PARK Here! Received £100 parking charge for parking over 30 mins, long queues for both Burger King and BP fueling. Shocking for service station thats supposed to be a pit stop for some people with kids, needing to eat, the toilet facilities were poor at the BP station however only ones we can use as Burger King had closed their store and only drive through for food. No chance of staying here for 30 mins when the queues are leading out of the service station. What a con

Don't stop here keep on driving, Burger king closed toilets even to customers, no other toilet facilities on site. Many people using bushes for relief. Disgusting sespit of a site.
