Waitrose & Partners Hythe

Waitrose is a lovely shop in Hythe, clean with good produce & everything you need. Plenty of free parking, trolleys, friendly staff & spacious for the disabled. Easy to pop in & visit. Tasty, good food!

Such friendly staff. Sold out of cucumbers just before closing, but they all went on the hunt for some just so we didn't go without. Could have easily just said sorry we have none as it was the end of the day. The husband had a similar experience another day when looking for a sandwich they came and found him later in the shop with the sandwich he was looking for

Sadly I have too be honest and say how it was and that was a nightmare. Staff in middle of aisles with cages. I accept stocking shelves has to be done. But when the staff are talking and not putting the stock out and blocking the Aisle with me on crutches it was not ideal. Also the store layout is bizarre. One aisle of Chilled goods and then have to go further down for the other chilled aisles which was madness.
Items you stock are ok but could be better. I doubt will go back in there if I'm honest both me and my wife don't like it.

Very good branch of this popular national chain. Ample car parking, slightly restricted entry and exit, and gets full at peak times, but most times you can find a space. Newly revamped and enlarged coffee shop at fair prices, although very restricted range,.the usual waitrose high quality range of goods are available.

A lot of people holding up tables reeding books and using laptops the management should ask them to free the tables for people who have actually bought food

First time at Waitrose Hythe. I liked how friendly Steph was when I check out. I was told (I leave outside UK) this is « normal » behaviour at Waitrose. Then I’ll shop at Waitrose again. Thank you Steph and Waitrose.

Good modernised Waitrose store. Nice cafe. Loved soup and sourdough bread.

Very overpriced and hostile. Customers act like the world owes them a favour and they want it yesterday. Staff are like robots. Horrible atmosphere, last resort shopping trip. Prefer root canal work at the dentist.
