Tesco Express

Shop is always well stocked and has various offers going, staff and polite. Parking at back of store is great but can get busy / full at times

Not long moved to Measham. Went to Tesco express on Wednesday night with my sister and the staff were rude, there was only us in the store and 3 minutes to go until closing. We were paying at the till as the woman who worked there rudely and bluntly says “girls come on we’re waiting to shut up the shop”. We then rushed, hurried up and she followed behind us and slammed the door to lock it. The first time I’ve been in was not the best. And definitely won’t be going again. I’ll stick to the co-op. Would be nice to know if she had done the same thing if we weren’t two young girls. Would rate this a zero but it won’t let me.

Staff are great, really friendly and happy to help. Has all you would want in a convenience store. Would highly recommend

Pricier than main Tesco stores, in accordance with Tesco policy. Staff generally very friendly. I suggest checking the dates on what you buy; I have found far too many out of date products here for my liking!

Well mannered staff.
Good knowledge of where products are around the shop.
Definitely used this store again.

Weird decision to remove all small bag options, plastic / paper or otherwise so now have to carry shopping basket to my car and return it or wait for one of the three trolleys?

Great small stock of goods and amenities which is great it also has a small in store bakery so you can pick up your small bakery needs. Lovely election free from and vegan selection some wonderful selection of fruit but it is a bit varied at times. To sum it all it it’s a Tesco express which has everything you need if you are going in for a quick top up of food items and amenities

Been going in since it opened, got friendly with a fair about of staff and never had a problem. Sure things are a bit more expensive then go to big Tesco but if I fancy a walk to grab some bits then ot does the does job nicely.

However since the refurb and the new doors that don't open straight away in quieter times (I assume the staff press a button to open them) I have 2 occasions where I've been stood waiting for 5 minutes outside each time.

First time I was walked in as another customer was walking out, they were the only one in there. Once in the cashier seem to look very confused to how I got it. Second time I gave up after watching the cashier strod lent over the till head down by the looks on thier phone.

In the end just went to the Co Op instead.
