Positioned behind the main High Street, this store benefits from free parking for customers. The car park is quite large and level. It is on the other side of the road from the store, which means if you have a trolley it's an uphill push on the way back.

There is a small car park on the same level as the entrance, and this has disabled parking too.

The store entrance is quite narrow, but once inside aisles are well laid out and spacious.

Waitrose products are more expensive than other supermarket brands, which is reflected in the high quality of the food.

The store is popular locally and queueing at the checkout is not unusual. New self service checkouts have been installed with a member staff on hand to assist. Great if you only have a few items or want a quick get away.

Staff are friendly and helpful and many have worked here for quite a while.

A pleasant place to shop.

I made my very first home shopping order with Waitrose today. I only used them as they could deliver first thing in the morning. The delivery had an item missing and my fruit was rotten. I called the branch and they hung up on me. I then called again to ask for the manager. I got an an apology and they said they would give me a refund for the fruit but considering it was my first order they could have made a little more effort. I won't be using them again.

Always good to visit. Best customer service, helpful staff and wonderful tahini! Organic salmon is fantastic. Love the place. Seabass fillets excellent too. Their Greek yoghurt is wonderful too.

Great, but I want them to bring back Cheesy Balls, (maize snack) I've not had them for at least 20 years. Used to be a Christmas Special, but even they're gone now :(

Good shop staff always pleasant.

Lovely cafe, good coffee, huge milkshakes and one of the best bowls of porridge I've tasted. Goldilocks would be very happy here!

Nice store unfortunately I wash overcharged for a item and undercharged for another but one quick phone call and it was sorted out.

I totally love this place, it might be a bit more expensive but the produce is so much better than the competitors. There are some really nice yogurts and other items that you just can't get anywhere else. The staff here are already super helpful and polite. There is also a nice big car park, which is so underused.
