This is a idea and very convenient little shop. The car park is a little small and when there is a delivery it looses about a third of these and so can be very busy at times but does the job. There is disabled parking on site also. The shop is generally looking clean and presentable throughout, during the Covid there where moments where there was a lot of missing stock but this is to be expected. To be fair the staff have done a great job working through the challenges and getting the store back to standard. The staff are great and always willing to help as much as possible. The shop has self service, Costa coffee machine, alcohol, general day to day items, bakery, newspapers, lottery. The shop is all on one level so easy to access for wheelchair users, and cash point on site. Getting out of the exit can be a little difficult as its on a very busy roundabout but this is not the shops fault I guess.

Ok had most essentials the cramped isles and hard to pass people on them, especially as I am vulnerable to COVID due to health conditions. Although triple vacation it still sends my anxiety up. Pretty busy also. Possibly I just went at a bad time. Most staff seem friendly one or two are quite unhelpful like the time I asked for a few pound coins in my change but quite a rude firm harsh response, hard to explain but not a great response could have just said sorry can't. But other than this quick easy pick up for stuff nearer to home.

I had a strange request. We were on holiday, staying in Littlehampton and somehow managed to leave behind the dog lead for our dog. I asked a young lady in the shop if they sold dog leads to which she replied they didn’t. We knew it was a long shot. We were having Dinner locally and only needed something to stop our dog from wandering around the restaurant. The young lady gave me a trolly strap which holds the goods in place when moving it around the store and it worked a treat. We went back after dinner to return the strap and to thank her but she had finished for the night. It’s fair to say she went above and beyond to help us and I hope Tesco recognise the great staff member that she is. As far as description is concerned, I’d say she was very early twenties, blonde hair and around 5’6”. Thanks again. You saved our evening.

Awful experience , Basically we were subject to some pretty discriminatory actions by the what i assume manager there due to our race and were even denied service cause of it, shocking this can even still happen in 2022.

Anchor butter and detol wipes had clubcard price on shelf, the cashier scanned my clubcard but i was charged higher than original price on shelf, tried to email customer care with photo of receipt and goods and auto reply says they do not monitor emails. Where do I go from here, trip all the way back to the store I think, to see if staff there can resolve.

Self checkouts do not accept clubcard via mobile. Why replace old ones that did work. Poor

Asked the lady behind the counter how much a box of chocolates were as there was no price indicated. The item was opposite her, in her view. She replied "I don't know, I'm not a mind reader". Charming. An alternative response may have been "Bring the box over and I'll scan it for you". Just plain rude. Self scans never work either.

Worst customer experience today!
Whilst looking at the bread a young Indian Tesco worker “beep beeped” me out of the way. When asked why he wanted me out of the way, he replied “I’m trying to stack the shelves here” My reply “well I’m trying to do my shopping here!”
He backed down and let me carry on shopping. I couldn’t believe what had just happened. Every Little helps??? I don’t think so, I won’t be returning any time soon. Shame I could only go down to 1 star ( I feel that is too generous) I know it won’t bother Tesco’s but you’ve lost a customer. Moving forward, more staff training perhaps???
