No human checkouts, only robotills. Staff refused to use the one normal till, which was being used as an impromptu storage area. Unacceptable. Left unable to purchase the water I wanted for my journey, thirsty and astoundingly disappointed. By the way, dozens of open fridges refrigerating almost everything (including bread?!!!?) are extremely bad for the environment. Plan A because there's no Plan B?

Sometimes, one gets treated really, really well and sometimes the service is not that great. For my last few visits to this place, it is mostly the latter.

If you want to be treated like a piece of dog mess, this is the place for you to shop. Members of staff are rude, curt, lazy and lack manners and class. The machines simply do not work properly. When I attended an M & S at London Gatwick, where I gave the place five stars, they did not have self service machines. I was happy to wait in the queue because the members of staff were ever so nice.

I saw one woman be so vile and unnecessarily to someone who was just trying to shop. I should have said something and stood up for the customer. Some of the staff need an attitude adjustment.

1. Shopping there is now a burden and it used to be a pleasure. If you want to buy a bag, you have to find a member of staff and then explain. Nothing is easy nor simple.
2. Staff are too busy talking to one another to do any good.
3. When other people are using the self service machines, one cannot tell if they are machines which accept cards and which ones accept cash. Thus, people don't often know where to queue. Members of staff just point in the general direction and are too busy talking to one another to be of any use.
4. Members of staff never seem to listen to their customers.
5. The machines never seem to make purchasing anything an easy task and it gets very annoying.

This place used to be nice, but since the self-service tills have been installed, this place is absolute rubbish.

Members of staff seem to be completely unaware of when customers need help. There are tills constantly in need of carrier bags and staff do not pay attention when the red lights are flashing, indicating that there is something wrong with a machine or a customer needs assistance.

This store has a good selection of food to go, as well as ready meals and other fresh ingredients. There's a range of fresh bakery goods that are good quality. The queues can be long however there's usually enough staff to keep it moving.

No Scottish honey no English honey which other M&S have . Only cheap blend of various country honey which I wouldn’t touch if it were free. This is a convenience store . I wonder if it is a franchise.

Almost £4 for some basic samosa? I think someone is trying to pull a leg!? Gets very busy but generally has what you need for a train journey, just don’t expect to do your big shop there.

Just bought some fresh orange juice, it has 7 days before use by and it tastes off. Clearly they are leaving it out of the refrigerator too long, glad I didn't buy a chicken sandwich.

Just left the Old Vic and wanted quality food after All My Sons. (Surprised that this store opens till 12am, everything closes too early in London) M&S, making me feel like I'm not in London but living in New York instead. Everything l need and didn't need were on the M&S shelves, so gladly spent more as always. Bonus to pick up lunch for a few days ahead since everything dated had at least three days worth of life left! Just a Brilliant ending to a perfect evening .
