The shopping was fine,it was easy

But the dining area, when we went to eat... The fish and chips was so dry, the lady working at the kitchen area, didn't want to make beans so I had just fish and chips.. And the chips was a small amount for £7:75.

And she just seemed off, because she was in her own. Lots of other people just left because it wasn't worth the amount of food they were offering

I think some staff could be more welcoming an friendly, the other r really nice. Good choice.of products .but cafe not my idea of friendly an helpful. I asked question about the food was told I can only get lasagna an garlic bread for 5.35 an then pay extra for chips which would be. So 6.85 , plus pay 1.85 for a coke that is so unfair an wrong how can u go from 5.00 for a meal . Then change to 5.35 for one item an bit bread. An nearly 2.00 for a cup of coke .

Every time I visit I experience unwelcoming behaviour, particularly from men in the self checkout. I was once looked at and ignored when asking for a bag and there is no willingness to help or to make me feel at least comfortable yet alone happy. It’s just a very negative atmosphere most of the time. I only go here to get essentials, I expect nothing from staff now, if I can’t find something or need help with something, I never ask and leave it. Each self checkout till should have a plastic bag if employee isn’t happy to give one.

These employees are currently feeling entitled, probably due to length of experience, I don’t care about their loyalty or what they did in the past. If they behave disrespectfully…

I actually really like the staff in ASDA. They would always help me out :) It’s even kind of strange for such a busy store.

Pros: So much stuff 😍, mostly good prices. Huge, so even on Sunday it’s not too crowded.

Cons: Easy to pick expired items. Check BB on EVERY item you buy. Do not send man without female supervision to ASDA. Otherwise man are likely to bring home many expired items.

Kind of stupid, that I must have a coin to get a trolley. No person carries cash anymore.

Not enough trolleys. At least not in Sundays.

One of the worst experience. This is my first ever review on google and I wanted to express how shocked and appalled I felt yesterday (23OCT2022) at this store. I arrived half an hour before the store was due to close with my 11month old daughter strapped to the trolley. Once I have completed my shopping at around 17:00 I started heading to the till after. At 17:02 I approached the till when I realised that almost all workers have deserted the place. I went to the nearest till, where I have been rejected to be served. After going to a few tills and being rejected and humiliated time and time again I decided to try one more time at a different till (17:07) at the last open till (honestly at hindsight I should’ve walked away from my shopping and headed somewhere else but I didn’t). The worker at this till looked fed up and started crying when she saw me. Her manager made her feel worst by almost forcing her to stay but once the tear got going he called another worker to take over. Once my shopping was completed and paid for (17:15) I headed to the exit. At the exit a few people have been waiting for a wild storm to end before heading to their cars. This is when I reached my breaking point. The same manager has told everyone to get out the store and suggested to take shelter in the trolley storage spaces. Having explicitly told him that I cannot go out with my little baby and shopping he has asked Security to pressure me to exit the store by opening the sliding doors and pointing at the storm. There is a little more to this but I wouldn’t want to keep typing away about how much emotions was going through my veins. To end this we (daughter and I) went home socked from head to toe, along with all my shopping. The one thing I will take from this and I hope a potential customer for Asda will, please understand that you are a customer with money to spend on whatever you desire and these stores are here to sell YOU. I will now be taking my hard earned money to another store for LIFE.

It's not perfect, but still typically a good experience. There's a large selection of products, no queues, and the staff are always kind and helpful. The opening hours are great too. Products (especially meats and cheeses) could be stocked up a bit more, as they are commonly out by the evening, but there's normally a wide range of alternatives. The main thing I dislike is item prices being arbitrarily increased (sometimes nearly doubled) just to then be "rolled back" a few weeks later, but I guess that's just an ASDA policy that the individual shop is forced to follow.

Thanks to everyone working here, I appreciate you all :)
