Good value, well situated little food store, right next to a bus stop and down the road from a train station. Parking round the back and in sainsburys, but usually busy. Food is always good and reasonably priced, often come here for snacks :) a bigger sandwich selection wouldn't go amiss.

What a great place to shop! I went in today to shop and i asked for help as i have a fractured arm. A sales assistant grabbed a shopping basket and went round the store with me then put the items through the self pay till for me. She even offered to take my shopping to the car. Wonderful service.

Great location easy access. Polite and friendly staff and a good selection. Shelves disorganised and messy which means understaffed, and considering it was busy for after work commuters one would think the store policy should be focusing on maintaining produce and particularly the offer for Valentine's day, where the fridge was half empty at 7pm.

Just the right size to have enough of everything you need. Well laid out. Well stocked whenever I've been. Easy to park in the customer car park when I have been but you can walk through from Sainsbury's car park if you happen to be going there too. Really easy access and not a long walk from S Woodford tube either.

I love M&S food, so I'm a regular visitor to this branch as it's my nearest one. Parking can be a bit of a nightmare because there aren't many spaces; I've waited 30 mins in a queue to park before. The staff was mixed, some were really helpful and others couldn't care less, but this didn't bother me, the store is not big, so I could navigate to find what I was looking for without asking for help. I wish the store and car park were bigger, but I'm just grateful to have a Simple Food nearby.

I went to the south woodford E18 store today. I met a wonderful member of staff her name is Seyran. I was putting my shopping into my cool bag, tried to lift it, I have a bad back. Seyran said that's very heavy and carried my bag to the car park for me. She was so kind. Wonderful lady. People like her should be recognised for there kindness. Thank you so much Seyran.
