Veru conviniently located near wimbledon trains, trams and busses. You can pop in to get something for lunch, breakfast or dinner while you waiting for your bus. I usually get staff in a few mins because service is very fast. They have sellection of organic food like milk, fruits and veggies unlike other small local shops. They have great lunch deals for only £3 and you can sellect healthy staff like fruit salads, water or smoothie. If you like to treat yourself you can get chocolate and fizzy drink with your sandwiche or wrap. They also have salads and hot food sellection for a quick takeaway lunch.

I really don't like leaving bad reviews, but this is the 2nd Tesco store in the last few months that I have contracted food poisoning at (fool me once...etc.). Please review your food storage and safety procedures. I have never contracted food poisoning before 2022 but have had the luxury of becoming ill after a meal deal on two occasions. Vomitting and stomach cramps are not pleasant. Thank you in advance.

Compact store, near Wimbledon mainline station. Ideal for small purchases but need to go to larger branches if you are purchasing a wider range of goods

Used to be a "Tesco Metro" but is now a "Tesco Express" despite the same closing times. All the self checkouts are now card only and none of the conveyorbelt tills are ever open. Good selection of products considering the store size but not so good prices but still pretty good considering that there are no discounters in Wimbledon. This store has had the same general layout for about 10 years now compared to Sainsburys nearby with a recent store refresh and a much older Morrisons and M&S(?) store design nearby...

You can pay only by card. There is one guy who always gets really mad when you want to pay cash. I mean if you are t happy with your job then change it! After all day working you don’t want someone looking at you like you are from another category! Please Tesco train your staff!

The ladies in the moring are so sweet. Always cheerful and a good morning from them. They will go out of thier way to help you even if you cannot find the product you need they will check everywhere for you. Great team always pop in for bits and bobs well priced.

ZERO STARS
The lack of covid-19 training for the staff in the store, is so apparent. A staff coughing uncontrollably in the confined space of the self-check-out. No attempt to cover their mouth with their hand or elbow and refusing to wear the mask provided, that hung around her neck like a necklace. I'm staggered, as it's the second time, that this same woman, just stands there coughing all over the place. Rude at the best of times but during a pandemic!!! COME ON
UPDATE 22/12/2022
This Tesco store doesn’t deserve one star, it should be zero.
This store is not fit for purpose. The security guard is incompetent and the staff are lazy and rude. The store is disorganised and dirty. Such a waste of space
