My favourite supermarket BUT NOT THIS STORE.
People are very slowly, rude and you have to wait ages for help!
What a shame...

Little Waitrose & Partners is a great convenience store for all your daily essentials. They offer a wide variety of fresh produce, high-quality products, and a friendly staff that makes shopping a pleasant experience.

I would like to applaud the store manager Sabir for his kindness and humbleness. Waitrose should really promote people like Sabir who are true assets to a company. Thank you very much Sabir.

It's not the staff that have no manners and are rude, it's other customers.

If you are non-white, enter at your own risk. Be prepared to be stared down like you are some circus freak. At least I was brought up properly and my mother taught me it's rude to stare.

They look as if to say, "how can you afford to shop in here"? The worst culprits are white, fifty-something males. I was trying to buy wine with the help of an assistant and I could feel the eyes of the man alongside, pretending to look for something in the same aisle, all the while his eyes fixed on me. It's like stepping back into the 1970s. It doesn't make for a pleasant shopping experience.

I just bought two bottles of wine to drink later on this evening. The mixed raced lady confirmed that I was over 21 on the self check out. I was extremely polite and thanked her but she gave me a dirty look and then just ignored me almost as if she was judging me for buying wine so early in the morning. I usually get great customer service in this Waitrose. She was so dismissive that I felt like I was trying hard to get a pleasant response, which; I didn't.

Please train your staff to be not only friendly but who acknowledge that I am a human being. I don't mind spending more in your shop if I feel like I'm a valued customer. I left wishing that I had gone into tesco instead!
