I'm not a fan of the food so never really buy from here. Waitrose food is far better and general prices the same or cheaper with vouchers. Monopoly on fuels as petrol marked up at braunton Esso at 1.75 while Sainsbury's Exeter 1.87 that's 45p difference for just a 4.5 ltr fill or a 10 gallon tank you pay £4.50 extra compared to Esso, which is still expensive, but as the Sainsbury's bankers don't care for real world living for the public they have no sense of really living on a budget. Braunton Esso picture of fuel prices while Sainsbury's 45p difference, thanks.

Small but well stocked supermarket. Friendly helpful staff.
Only gripe is that there is never a dedicated member of staff to look after the automatic checkouts. This often results in a wait for a member of staff to notice that human intervention is needed for age check etc. This keeps people from using the automatic tills. (This is the reason I have left a 4 star review.)

Large store with lots of parking. However the bakery appears to have significantly reduced or shut so fresh bread / bakery product options were limited.

Busy on tills and self checkout area. People were abandoning there shopping at the self checkouts due problems using the machines. To old lady’s were trying to sort all the problems but I think it looked as if they were struggling to deal with all customers issues. The sooner they get rid of the self checkouts the better

Good selection of free from foods, especially gluten free bread products.
The accessible toilet is spacious enough for a wheelchair user. There was is a separate area for baby change but unsure if this is suitable for older children.
Also, kudos to Sainsburys for changing the spelling of Kyiv on their products!

We moved here about two years ago, ever since shopping at Sainsbury's, the car park area is always nice and clean and looks really presentable, the staff outside no matter the weather are always happy and polite. As for inside the store it's again very clean and tidy, the staff that are working the isles seem to enjoy there job and always seem happy, if I ask for help the members of staff are more than polite, over all the store is well looked after and that seems to reflect on the members of staff, which again 100% are happy outgoing people. 100% I recommend to my family and my friends it makes your day that little bit brighter.

Pinhoe Sainsburys is a large superstore with ample parking, accessible, parent & child and six electric vehicle charging bays supplied by Pod point.
There is a Timpsons. Argos, Pharmacy and a cafe which has recently reopened.
The aisles are wide and welcoming, the store boasts a large clothing and nonfood section. With a bus stop to the city right outside and a petrol station with car wash makes this a very busy store. Staff were very polite and friendly from start to finish.
