Normally love TFC and have never said anything bad about it until today. I bought some chicken hearts from there and when I got home, they were rotten and made the whole flat and block smell like rotting corpse and sulphur. I cannot express how bad the smell was, I only had them in the house for a few minutes before i took them out to the bin but it is hours later and my windows are still wide open and we have disinfected the flat, yet the smell is still lingering. I am shocked that the workers here are allowed to sell meat that could potentially make someone seriously ill - something has to be done about this

Customer services definitely needs a work. I asked for guidance of where a particular product was and go told to check somewhere in the back with an attitude. Both managers and staff members need an attitude check. Can’t be running a whole shop with nasty customer service and also be shouting at your staff members too.

Great(usually) fruits and vegetables choice all year round.
And THE RUDEST staff one could ever come across:
1.On at least 3 ocassions they double charged me for one and the same product;once I went back to the store manager almost shouted at me"everyone have the right to do mistake"...well,if it happenned only once Id give it a benefit of the doubt
2.Cashier on till No 1 was having a chat on the mobile phone whilst serving clients.Having been asked"am I not disturbing you?"he just said "no"..on the other hand-can some people be expected to have manners..?

Excellent, clean shop for all sorts of Mediterranean, African and South Asian foods. Impressed by range of products.

If you are looking for customer service then look elsewhere, their service is reliant upon the mood of their staff, sometimes you don't even get acknowledgement that you are there and some try to hide behind the language barrier. Probably one of the most poor customer services on the parade.

This has happened on many occasions and I'd like to warn other shoppers. In previous times I'd notice that the price on the receipt was higher then the price labels on the shelves. I'd let the staff know and they'd just brush it off saying that the price is higher and the price labels were wrong. I started making a habit where I would check receipt after a shop and always find higher prices. Today I did a bigger shop and I did think the price was too high but I couldn't check the receipt right away as I had a few bags that I was carrying. Went home and noticed that a bag of 89p potatoes had been charged at £19.99. A box of lahmacun had been charged £14.99, price on labels was £3.99. These did stand out a lot and I was not happy at all. Went back in store and asked for the money back.

This is the last time I will allow this to happen. I've taken pictures of the receipt and if this happens again, I will be reporting this to trading standards. This is not how a business should run things. These "mistakes" are happening way too often and they should make sure their staff is pricing items according to the price labels. This is not a mistake, this has been happening a lot over the years and its not right moraly or legally.

A message to the owners: please provide adequate staff training and make sure you're not overcharging your loyal customers.
