Lidl West Croydon

Very spacious shop but very often, especially in the evenings shelf are empty and have to find an alternative items. Great idea with fresh squeezed orange juice but lots of spillage on the floor and it's very sticky.

23/09/2022 around 10:10 I have just been at At the self payment machines. There was a black lady who is really rude to the customers . Included me. It is not the first time she is disrespectful to me. When asking for help she comes in a really bad manner and starts mumbling.She has a really bad attitude. Hope the manager does something about it as once again it is not the first time she is being so impolite.

It's clean and tidy. Never spot mouldy or old food as it has happening often in other lidl's. Lots of parking space,well staffed. Bit crowdy on the weekends pick time

The so called security guard is a rude and aggressive.
Walked in and asked politely if he could unlock the barrier to get in the store as my daughter was in the trolly and he refused rudely(even though the normal one normally does)
Once I was paying for all of my shopping, my partner went to self checkout to buy his few bits and then came to help me and got told he was stealing and that he should have got a receipt which normally he does but he was hurrying to help me the secrity guard then went on to start shouting at him saying he's calling the police on him and then my partner left the store and he then continued to shout at me scaring my daughter who at this point was shouting stop and that she was scared he would not leave me alone.
He would not give me his name or security number so that I could put I complaint in

For those who visit Croydon Islamic Centre (next door) every Friday can have free 1 hr 30 min parking.
Middle aisle (Middle of LIDL) offers new and attractive products at affordable prices. If you like something and then change your mind then think again, you are not going to find it next week. If it's gone it's gone.
Confectionary is fresh with an inviting smell that's hard to resist.
If you are visiting UK then this is a very good place to shop for gifts to take home.

Good place to shop. Food and items sell fast and is close to the town centre. It also has its own parking

The store seems to always be out of certain things like tomato purée, certain pre-cooked pastas, aromat and the staff are very unhelpful. On three occasions, I have been waiting around the self check out needing support for an unreasonable amount of time. The staff have run off or they're too busy having a chat with a colleague to help me. Yesterday, the lady at the till next to me repeatedly shouted "excuse me" at them like 6 or 7 times without them bothering to stop their conversation and help her. They seemed to know she needed support with the till and just kept on talking between them. Next thing I know, I'm getting uncomfortable how long they are taking to serve and we are both staring at them while she shouts. There was only two of us at self check outs; it wasn't like they were busy. They just thought their idle chit chat was more important than actually working.
