What has happened to this supermarket?

I visited on Saturday evening and thought it was closed at first because the lighting was so dim.

There was nobody on the checkouts for shoppers with trolleys. Only the self-service checkouts were available, and they are designed for baskets and not trolleys. There is no space for a trolley and the bagging area is too small for two large carrier bags.

The member of staff looking after self-service was doing an excellent job busily moving from one customer to another.

Poor.

Large supermarket with large selection of quality produce, also has homewares and clothing departments. The in store cafe is a good place to grab a bite to eat or just relax with a hot drink. There is also a chemist in the centre of the store. Staff are friendly and helpful. Store is always clean and tidy. There is also a large fee car park that houses a fuel station and car wash

Come here every day for my lunch during work. Refused a lucozade (16+ purchase) as I had no ID. Bear in mind I’m 6 foot, have an armful of tattoos and had just DRIVEN to the shop. Lady refused to let me see her name badge so I could name her but very disappointed. Attitude was terrible!
Yes the rules are the rules but as someone who worked in pubs for 5 years, some common sense is easily applicable in such situations.

Nipped in for lunch whilst shopping last week. Ordered tomato soup and also cheese and cranberry baguette. So tasty and reasonably priced. Good menu, lots of choice. No complaints.

Sainsbury’s are THE leading supermarket when it comes to offering the public ‘Organic’ food. They have a vast range & variety, from ‘Fruit & Veg’… eggs 🥚 cheese 🧀 milk 🥛 chocolate 🍫 mayonnaise, bread 🍞 honey 🍯 etc, etc, etc… this is only a fraction of what’s on offer..!

Some say: eating ‘Organic’ is a little more expensive. I say, what price do you place on your health… 😏 And to eat food that’s not been sprayed with toxic poisonous chemicals..? ☠️

Some say; well it’s not done me any harm. I say; the under lying health issues that’ve been caused by eating poisonous food for decades, just hasn’t shown it’s self yet… 😒

Your body, your choice..!

Horrible, the car park is rubbish, massive issues trying to get to the filling station. The shop itself is in need of updating it really has a knackered feeling about it, again the shelves were pretty poorly stocked and the tills over crowded. Sadly not a great experience.

Plenty of choice, decent offers and spacious aisles in a clean, well staffed environment with a large car park and petrol station. Well worth a visit for a grocery or Argos trip.
