I'm afraid the new management of this store really need to re-think things - having no cashiers on a Saturday even after 10.00 am is pretty awful. All the poor customers with medium to large amounts of shopping are all forced to use self-checkout - I can tell you being squashed into the tiny self check-out isle while scanning multiple items for several minutes is no fun - who knows what you may catch in these conditions! So overall all if you plan to buy less than 10 items that's fine but anything greater I would avoid this store until they start getting some cashiers back in.

I just Started going this Sainsbury again After I stopped going to this Sainsbury about 3 (2019)years ago after experiencing the worst customer service in my life from one Jamaican woman , there was no help regarding Freezing Payment Machine, and worse, there was no other Option to make Payment as Everyone was busy packing shelves instead of helping people in need. In 2022 l decided to go to this Sainsbury again as l desperately needed something on the Road, l was surprised at the level of Customer Service, Someone there helping people. Good Job, l have been there 4 Times since then 👏 👍.

Lovely air conditioning inside and self service was very fast with no queues.
Went in to by water melon as my son loves the small ones which are sweet and hardly have any seeds in.

Not the cheapest supermarket, but you could easily live off the range of food all year round. Good fresh veg and salad section. Sometimes the fragile stuff (eg bag of spinach or cut herbs) are crushed and bruised, I think from them being packed too tightly on the shelves to avoid frequent replenishment. I've asked the staff and they say it's caused by customers mauling them to find the latest best-before dates. Decent-sized meat-free range compared to the Morrison's (further north on Wood Green high street) which is twice the floorspace. The proportion of shelf space devoted to non-food SKUs is creeping up which reduces the food choices.

I'm not totally happy with TKMAX they don't sell perfect jewellery, and make customers aware that they have a reduction because of a fault. Spending over £300 is not cheap.

This is a high street super market not a retail park mega store, but it has everything I need. I can pop in for just one or two items. I can also do a big shop. Usually I go in for bread, cheese and a bottle of wine - then pick up all sorts more on my way around.
