Tesco Express

Staff are friendly but the security officer is suspicious of the wrong people. He follows and side eyes literally everyone. I felt disrespected when he asked if I had paid as he clearly saw me pay at the checkout. When I told him do you want to see the receipt he said no as he realised he made a mistake and would look stupid . Nevertheless surely if anyone does steal the alarm will go off so asking people if they had paid is really unnecessary. This is shame because the rest of the staff are really nice but the security officer just put me off shopping here!

Poor and rough service. The security officer and staff member accused that I didn't pay alcohol before they have checked the fact. I can understand they need to do their job and responsibility but their attitude had totally wrong! They even didn't say sorry when they realised they did misunderstanding me.
So if anyone wants shopping there please remember take receipt otherwise the same situation would be on you.

Went into this store at approximately 18.45 today and found that I seemed to be the only person, including staff, wearing a facial covering. I understand you cannot enforce the rules for the public, but I would have thought you colleagues would want to protect themselves. Not happy with this shop at all

62000 cases of covid today, you wouldn’t think so going into this store. Several customers and staff members without masks and it’s impossible to distance in such narrow isles. You shouldn’t be allowing this unless they’re exempt, but no one is checking are they?

I have visited this store a number of times i found at least twice one of the fridges were not working but people were working to fix it the staff have always been polite and friendly also i noticed the lack of basic stock when i have been in there

Dangerous. Bought the "freshest" chicken they have, supposed to expire in 5 days but it smells disgusting and is definitely gone. Was clearly left out of the fridge, alongside the fish which is also expired and has mould on the underside. Oh, and half the vegetables I bought were also mouldy. I always pick-out the best examples, but this entire £50 shop turned out to be not just disgusting, but dangerous.

Hello I am a regular customer of your store I come very often. And well I am shocked with what I had seen today! One of your staff by the name of Minhaz. Was shouting, arguing and being verbally abusive towards another member of staff a young lady. I always go to her to serve me as she is a very nice young lady, whatever issues this man has with her HE SHOULD TAKE IT TO THE BACK INSTEAD OF SHOUTING AND INSULTING STAFF MEMBERS IN FRONT OF CUSTOMERS!! This has upset me so much that I had to put this on Google as well!

I used to come here all the time. But today is the last straw! I've had enough of this store never having what I want and staff are all so rude to me! The only staff member who treats me with any respect and kindness is a lovely girl. And it really upset me today when I see a member of staff Minhaz (who is not even magement) shouting at her and being verbally abusive IN FRONT of other customers!! This is not on I know she dose not to be treated like that!! Is this how tesco treat their staff!!? I will no longer be taking my business in this store ever again! I STRONGLY URGE YOU ALL TO AVOID THIS STORE THIS IS WORSE THAN THE SAINSBURY'S THAT HAD THE RATS! as soon as you go in you can feel the tention.
