Tesco Express

I have been coming to this Tesco for years. Great for a last minute light food shop, a quick lunch, alcohol re-stock for a party you may be having e.t.c The staff are always helpful and polite. A decent selection of products for a Tesco Express.

Terrible service , been told by the staff that they are not allowed to open more than one till. Might be due to the fact they stand about talking, smoking etc and largely treat customers as a massive inconvenience.

It's faster to drive ten mins each way and go to a huge superstore than it was to buy milk here due to the staff.

Also been told by the staff that they are too busy to open tills.

It's kind of the supermarket version of fawlty towers!

I like Tesco it has good meal deals but this Tesco never opens more than one till so you end up waiting in line for a very long time! And requests from costumer's to open another till go un answered or is met with contempt from angry staff sort yourself out Tesco

My goodness, Thank you first of all for being opened. However on 19/4/20, This branch was in slight dismay. With only 1 lady on 2 tills serving, plus a young chap. Trying to manage a cue and imply new shopping rules. Whilst trying to fill shelves as the customers was endless. I decide to collect all baskets left at the till on the way out. As I felt so bad for the staff, as well as the customers, waiting to get in. Please head office, send more staff here. You are the closest, for all surrounding the area,providing the essential we all need

Good convenience store and the prices are reasonable. I mostly just pop in for milk or bread and butter.
Staff are friendly and its a welcome place to go to and do my shopping!👍

Would give zero if I could. The worst Tesco Express I have ever been to. There is nothing really except super unfriendly staff who looks ennoyed that they have to scan your items. Never more. Rather walk far than here!

I will change my opinion when you finally create self check out for customers because there is always queue and there is no point to waste our life for standing in it

Similar to what another user has written, if I could give it a 0 I would.It's probably mostly a staffing issue as the actual layout is alright and has a number of different products, so wide range.
The staff though are absolutely unhelpful, and there are always HUGE queues. I spend MORE time queuing here than I spend shopping if I'm being honest.

They also have NO self checkout stations, so even if you have 1 item you have to wait in the huge line. What is worse is that every time I've been there, and there's been a huge queue, there's only ever been 1 staff member at the tills!

I would not go there.
