Tesco Express

Packed. Constant interminable restocking during peak hours. Aisles tiny and always clogged with crates. Self checkouts broken every other day. Not enough staff. Convenient location and decent stock of items but otherwise an absolute disaster!

If only there was another shop like this nearby, I'd never set foot in this store again...

It's extremely cramped, with cargo carts blocking the way, the self check out tills have scales which constantly complain about wrong weight and you have to wait for staff which can take minutes until someone deigns to come over and help. The scales are also very small, meaning you'll have a hard time buying more than one bag worth of products.

Horrible. Literally the worst Tesco I've ever been in through my years in London. Packed with people, tills are never working properly, half the shelves are empty, the staff are somehow always blocking the way in the already packed store. The fact that an area like St John's Wood doesn't have at least one decent store is embarrassing. I've switched to ordering online and even when I sometimes go in the store I regret it. Do better

This is the worst supermarket in London. It is also the only normal supermarket in St Johns Wood (the deli opposite charges extortionate prices so the locals — including me — have only one place to go) which is the only reason this supermarkt still exists. Looking at all the 1-star reviews, I am not alone in saying;

Reasons to avoid:
- Staff are entirely unhelpful (they’ll lie and ignore you, or talk about you in Hindi).
- the staff argue and shout at each other in front of customers (they seem to hate working there too)
- they are always stocking shelves when it’s busy (lack of leadership)
- they are understaffed (lack of leadership)
- the pathways are too narrow (store needs the be reimagined)

The people who work there have given up on the store. The only reason it exists is because there isn’t any competition nearby. Tesco needs to step in. This store needs a change of management.

Terrible tesco. Always very busy and the shop is so small. Non English staff which don't help. Always 1 staff at the till. Massive ques to use cash.

Worst, not only tesco, but grocery store I've ever been to. Never seen such a bad customer service. Staff are rude to people, I was already thinking it was terrible, staff and shop in general, but one of them actually made fun of me in front of everyone yesterday. Also if you make a comment about customers, literally in front of them, you cannot do it in a language that they don't understand just to say whatever you like. I'll make sure I never put foot in this place again even tho is the only one nearby, this is how unhappy I am with the place! Unacceptable that this is the only option in St john's wood.

I had an evri parcel delivered here. After receiving the notification that the parcel has been delivered when I went there after two days, they said no such parcel has been received, and to come back after a few days. When I went there after 6 days, the person told me the parcel has been returned back and showed me on his machine it had been delivered to them 2 days prior to when I went to collect it the first time. It was never returned back to the company so the company didn't issue a refund as well. I am not sure what they did with the product. The staff seemed quite rude and apathetic in all of this.

Worst grocery store ever. The staff are stocking the tills for the whole day. They are always blocking the aisles. Customer service is very very slow and unpleasant. I wish I could suggest to the council closing or changing this shop for the SJW high street renovation project.
