Tesco Superstore

Being a Superstore rather than a Tesco Extra, this store is lacking the extensive homewares and electronics sections of larger outlets, and the small area allocated to clothes is a little underwhelming, but otherwise this is a good sized supermarket offering pretty much everything you need for a regular grocery shop. Staff are helpful, there are plenty of Scan As You Shop devices, a cafe and loads of parking.

Awful experience recently. Meant to get a delivery 5 days ago. It was returned to store because of a payment issue which I was made to feel was my fault but turns out to be an issue with Worldpay. Rescheduled for 4 days ago but the delivery was delayed because of “technical issues at the store” so I couldn’t guarantee I’d be able to take delivery in the time frame they have me. Rescheduled delivery for later in the day. It just didn’t turn up! A 5th call back to customer services at 8pm to be told it had been returned to store and I’d been refunded! My app says both days food has been delivered.
So 5 days in, 9 calls to customer services, 3 hours on the phone and still no answers as to why this happened. I have a delivery scheduled but I’m ready to cancel if I don’t get the reassurance that this is a one off but honestly this is looking unlikely as the manager was meant to call me within 48hours, then between 7&8 Thurs, then between 12&1 Thurs then when he came out of his meeting Friday 😡

Been shopping at Tesco for over 50 years have no complaints, good service

On 8/10/22 I was stuck in traffic on the motorway for hours with my 7 week old daughter and I had to stop in for some nappies and essentials, both of us were exhausted and I was struggling to shop one handed. At the self service check-out a lovely young man noticed how much I was struggling straight away and offered to help me pack so I asked if he may hold my daughter just so I can get my bits and he gladly agreed. A few customers commented on how kind he was to help and he really helped a mum at a time of need! It made a huge difference at the end of a very stressful night. Thank you so much Haydon you are a super star and I couldn’t thank you enough!

Getting in the store at this present moment is a pain in the butt but when you get to the check out it's very easy which is good news

Not that busy. Could not find everything I needed. But fir a basic shop it's okay. Definitely not as good as it used to be. Too much space taken up with shoddy cheap clothing that could be used for essential food. Too much low quality meat and not enough good quality.

Love Tesco store great service friendly people at tills and checkout points. Great to be able to shop for everything under one roof. Prices for Tesco card holders so brilliant

Went 9pm Friday. Plenty of stock. Not many customers. Great time to shop.
