Lidl

Lidl is still strong and worth a visit. Like their bakery products especially croissants & low GI bread. Fruit & veg selection is good. Some prices have been held.

Enjoyed walking around Lidl today until I got to the till were I noticed the young girl txing on her phone she carried on leaving me stood waiting for her to finish her tx.

Always been an Aldi fan but recently decided to try the Lidl and was immediately impressed by the amount of parking available, especially the ones allocated for disabled.

Once inside the well stocked shelves and generous aisles again were very impressive.

The checkout was very efficient and the size of the bill also.

All in all a very pleasant experience.

I went to Lidl's in Shirebrook on the way home from Spanish class on Tuesday... The had no blue top milk and in all fairness the store felt understocked. I ended up spending less than a tenner and going over to Tesco's in Clowne. I may perhaps skip coming here again in future

Bad customer service,the cashier girl have denied my friend to buy eggs today( pack of 15) I have been allowed only 2 packs but my friend who was with me was not allowed to buy, any.
Secondly,be very careful with your purchases,couple few months ago I have bought a beautiful set on knives, unfortunately because I have made a lot of shopping,somehow I have forgot this box under the cashier point. I was so sure that is in safe hands,but I was so wrong, somebody took it right from the cashier nose. The manager didn't seem to care a bit.
You never see a smile from these people...no matter how hard their shift is .
I will skip this place from now on.

Like the fresh bakery and fruit and veg.
Plenty instore availability for items and a nice big car park.

Lovely staff. Great bargains on offer. Much better quality fresh fruit n veg than Aldi.

Lidl is Lidl what can you say fresh baked bread cobs ect do your weekly shop. Does what it say on the tin 😂
