High quality, excellent service. Much more expensive than regular supermarkets. Large variety, excellent wines and alcohol selection. Online bakery

Waitrose is not my supermarket of choice as I find it too expensive but it was within a few meters of my mooring. It had all the products I wanted but I decided to leave many until I reached a better price supermarket. The checkout lady was especially nice and advised me where to go in Chester. It is directly opposite this huge chimney in the photo. .

Our daughter bought this for my husbands 60th. She asked for it to be made special there was no mention of this ? Our room was fine it over looked the carpark why not give us a better view? Breakfast very nice. Bar staff very friendly. Great location

First time visit to a Waitrose store, intended to buy a vegan Christmas log, but unfortunately there none left, but a very professional male member of staff explained how these items are stocked, 5 stars because shop was bright, clean, well stocked (minus the item I needed!) and staff were very professional and customer focused

We are regular shoppers to the Chester store and often treat ourselves to a morning coffee with a breakfast item.
Visited this morning and found the cafe area particularly quite. Ordered coffee my usual sausage bap and avocado and bacon on sourdough toast. Wait for coffee acceptable but food order did not arrive for a good 20 minutes by which time lukewarm coffee was finished. No apology for time aken by the assistant who appeared to be working alone.

Disappointed member.

A big thank you to the very nice chap on the sushi counter who took time to come and talk to me. He then went away & made up the spicy prawn sushi I was looking for, but was not out on the counter! Thank you, and your sushi is amazing :)

Nice place to shop but is there really any need for branded items to be significantly more expensive here than Tesco. Yeo Valley yogurt £2.30 here, £2 in Tesco or £1.50 with club card. Don't mind paying a bit more for Waitrose own brand items but this is stupid.

Good supermarket with cafe and large carpark in Chester. I popped in at 8:30pm and noticed they were kindly handing out food for free which had reach its sell by date.
