M&S Foodhall

Just left M&S where I was told by a rude manager that they shut at 8pm! When I said oh it states 10pm on google she said maybe you shouldn’t rely on google and use common sense and check our website LMAO!! Absolutely shocking service! I won’t allow this Vile person ruin it for the rest of the amazing M&S staff and will now only shop in the Waterlooville branch.

My visit today was to return a online parcel back, The manager served me, He was very polite, pleasant and friendly during the interaction. The store was clean and tidy, same as the cafe. May be tempted to use it on my next visit.

Easily accessible parking with lots of available spaces.
Great quality and excellent variety food products make it easier to cook homemade dishes 😋
Fresh fruit and vegetables, bakery, great variety of drinks and snacks.
Fantastic frozen meals too and great meal deals for the whole family.
There is also a cafe to have a quick coffee and delicious cake 🎂.

Brilliant, especially customer service.

2019 3* - Mostly really good here although, disappointed when picking up Christmas order (23rd December). The store was understandably beyond busy and credit to the staff who were coping extremely well and giving out chocolates and biscuits to numb the pain. I purposely pre ordered food knowing the store would be very busy. I have pre ordered couple of Christmas's ago at Waterlooville and simply walked in, collected and left with no issues. How very different and disturbing the experience was at Ocean Park. The pre order collection counter was being used as a point sale as well as a collection point. This made it unbearably crowded and the time to be served exorbitant. Would recommend any time except during the Christmas period unless you enjoy large crowds and waiting in line.

Opening time in window should be changed to “ meant to be 8 but never is “ I’ve lost count of the times I’ve stood waiting long past opening time waiting to shop before work . It’s not great customer service to keep customers waiting around like that . Shame because apart from that the store is nice with some lovely members of really friendly staff , this late element really lets the store down. Maybe they should all be bought watches or perhaps check the clock they are working from ??

Good selection of quality food. I have visited multiple times and is not over crowded. Recently served by a Andreja, and was very polite and friendly.
