Nice clean and tidy place. Enough stock of essentials. Open 7:00 to 23:00 all week. Parking space for few cars. More space on street nearby. 24 Hrs free ATM.

Cashier called manager over to ask if she could accept a £20 note with a tear in it. Manager comes over and says "not really".

Bank of England states that a note with less than 20% missing, rips, tears, has celotape, or staples are perfectly legal tender as long as at least 80% of the note is there and its denomination legible - which my note was by far.... it just had a rip (and not even all the way through!).

Another case of authority going to someone's head causing them to project their beliefs as policy and/or the law. I will be requesting that head office reminds them of their position.

Really handy and welcome addition to Molesey to have a Sainsbury’s local here. Used it when I went to Molesey carnival, I bought all the kids ice creams from here. Would have gone to the ice cream vendors at the carnival, but the queues were so long (they were doing fine for business). Cash points here too.

A Sainsbury's local open 7 to 11 every day. It has a cashpoint and eight parking bays including one disabled, not normally an issue finding a place to park but you can get blocked in buy delivery vehicles or inconsiderate drivers parking randomly.
Overall the staff are competent and mostly friendly but not the most professional, numerous times I've overheard them talking about staffing issues or last night's sexual accomplishments.

This Sainsbury store is a gem. It has been a Godsend during the pandemic and the staff are always cheerful and helpful. It is amazingly well-stocked for a small store. Well done!

Average range of goods. Really need a self service checkout and the car park needs a rethink as it's so small people frequently block the public highway waiting to pull in. Not ideal at all.

Prices are a lot higher than anywhere else we only go there when there isn't anywhere open. Not a great selection of food, tills always have a massive que. Feel like I'm being watched the whole time I am in there, which is quite off putting. Friendly staff on the tills but they do have a lot of problems with the tills themselves and I then have to go and get cash from the machine outside, which is often not working.
