For picnics in Castle Park, look no further than the Meal deal selection at this here Teccy Express.

Walk-in around 4/5 for cheeky reductions. Got a naughty Belgian Bombe for £0.32!!! 🥇

The store finds it impossible to have the bakery shelves filled and the coffee machine working when the store has already been open for 1 and a half hours. Not worth it in the morning when you want a coffee and a pastry before work.

So one of the security has decided to follow me about the shop. The problem I have with this is I habitually have over 3k in camera gear and in the three years I've been shopping there have never struggled to afford a sandwich!

Starting with the good: this branch always has unusual items on discount and always stocks Indian finger chillies. The bad however is that it appears that the staff are all part of some cult or something! They are always in thick, dark hoods (which I have never seen in any other branches and I assume is not part of the uniform) and I passed the branch once only to peer in and see within the darkness of the shop several candles had been lit and a statue of a man with a goats head stood in the bread isle which the staff were pouring red liquid over. Also the shop did not have any carrier bags when I visited last and required people to take things away in bin liners which was very unprofessional!

A little cramped and not the cleanest, but it has everything you need.

I came this morning to find this branch closed and after 20 min of waiting after the time they supposed to be open they said they can’t serve me because they don’t have enough staff

Around 17:00 on 7/1/22 I did some shopping at a few shops. But had an issue with Tesco’s express near castle park. Great and hard-working Tesco’s staff, but security accuses me of stealing a meal deal. Definitely not what you want after a long day at work. I was the only individual using the self checkout at the time and even the machine said "payment accepted" which is loud and clear enough for him to hear and see, since I was right Infront of security view. Even Tesco’s staff at the till seen me pay. Security stop me and said "have you paid?" and I said "yes, you watch me pay, and to go talk to the Tesco’s staff at the till as he seen me pay, or to check the cameras." He said "I need receipts because you could have taking and walked out.” I asked for his name and refused to give. Other people using self checkout after me and he wasn't even looking at them and they were able to buy their items and leave the store peacefully. I ask "why don't he stop the other customer and I was ignored" I felt targeted and embarrassed. I missed my bus and had to walk home in the dark in the rain because he wouldn’t let me leave the store. Not good if you are a young woman walking home alone. Not safe. Unprofessional, impolite, thoughtless, untruthful, inattentive and needs training on how to address customers and not shout out "you didn't pay!" to a customer with items they clearly paid for.

Self serve scanners were either closed or didn't work properly. Shop floor was untidy but the staff were very friendly and helpful
