Asda Sutton in Ashfield Superstore

Absolutely disgusted by the behaviour of the staff at the checkout tonight! Walked down from one end of the store to the basket only checkout only to have the barrier pulled out in front of me. This lady watched us walk the whole way down and pulled the barrier out deliberately as we got there to say they where closed. Customers were also in the basket only area, paying. They then refused to serve me alcohol due to my 17 year old sister stood next to me, even though I am 22 years old and had ID. I understand they thought I may be buying it for my sister but I explained that if it was one of my parents being stood in my shoes today would they refuse them in the same way just because my sister was present. It was a normal food shop also, not just alcohol in my basket. I am disgusted at the behaviour of the staff and the rudeness, prejudging me and my sister, only trying to do a food shop!

Recently the shelves of popular items are empty. No one is filling them, no matter what time of day or night you go in store. Why have a tv campaign for their items when they never have any on shelves. Come in asda get them shelves filled.

Advertised the store closes at 4pm on a sunday, security chap assulted a black man who was trying to enter the store at 3:45 stating they were closed. A bit of a ruckus ensured, thankfully the Manager arrived to sort things out.

Absolutely disgusting went did a shop with my little boy who has Range of disabilities he likes to hold the scan and go handset got to checkout and came up need to do a quality check so because the staff had to scan all my shopping made me feel like I shoplifting I tried to explain to 1 of the staff Thin girl glasses black ponytail hair I've not shoplifted anything I showed them receipt and was still made to feel like I shoplifted explained my boy likes to hold the scan and go handset so I apologize if he might have caught something or removed something didn't want to know already made there minds up absolutely disgusted how they treated me and my disabled boy.

Me and my mum went to the cafe for lunch and a couple of hours later was poorly my mum was sick and I had chronic stomach pain the pizza was so greasy it left a puddle on my plate I advised everyone not to go even if you are starving to death!! absolutely disappointed about it (discussed) :(

Got to say the overflow car park at sutton is disgusting ,people are fly tipping thru the broken fencing,using it as a toilet,and someone was sleeping rough on the school footpath end,,,fence broken that side as well.
Not good needs sorting also plenty of rats on there.

We love shopping here we find staff are very friendly and helpful, shelves are normally full and fruit and veg is very fresh. Parking can be a bit of a nightmare sometimes though

Goods being sold 2days after use by date make you wonder how they care for goods that no longer need a date, ASDA it does not take long to loose a loyal customer base. one more shop if we see this again in will go to trading sandards and post photos, money is not readly avalible for all during cost of living crisis buck your ideas up and manage your stock and staff
