Nice to have this supermarket next to my flat, customer service is great but unfortunately, there are no enough products... just few items to get out of troubles.. Four stars because of the service and convenient location, but not enough daily products.

First review since the recent refurbishment. Wow! The store has modern lighting there is now a wider bakery range (a table at the front displaying the bakery and also an aisle with more bakery items) the "Taste the difference" cookies, which are absolutely delicious are displayed throughout the store! There is now a hot food and pizza counter, a bigger Costa Coffee counter at the front, there is now a bigger frozen range with modern freezer cabinets and a Yo Sushi Fridge. Excellent refurbishment with a big food to go range! Wonderful customer service here and all staff are busy perfecting the store. The products are slightly pricey but it's local competition is Tesco Express on Mansell Street and Co op in America Square. I've found that all 3 of them have very similar prices. The meal deal isn't great and I would recommend that you go to Tesco if you are after a meal deal. Overall, I strongly recommend that you shop here if your looking for food to go and a small weekly shop.

Are you from out of town? Don't expect much here. Anything that you as a traveller might need (say something you forgot to pack), odds are, they don't have it. This place should change its name to "Packet of crisps and a fizzy drink", as that's about all that they have. I can't count the number of times this interaction happened: "Excuse me, do you have (something)?" "No, we don't have that."

It does not surprise me that all reviews seem to be about the diabolical, absolutely disgusting service you receive for being A paying customer. After their staff wasted 20 minutes of my lunch due to no training, and the manager not wanting to do any work so instead will make excuses as to why they have no staff on the counter at 2pm I entered at 1.50pm, none of this made any sense and Instead the customer was to blame, although this was no fault of a paying customer. I was verbally abused by the manager HABIB, (clearly very unhappy) and his own staff had to apologise for his awful behaviour with other customers as shocked as myself. Not to mention that in the end I had to obtain a refund due to such bad service. Another customer lost. Not to mention his mask was around his chin whilst making a pizza for a customer. AVOID!

Lost my phone in a park today next to Sainsburys (honestly thought it was a goner) but one of their staff found and took care of it. Wanted to take a moment to applaud his honesty and humbleness - we need more people like you - thank you! 🙏
