M&S Simply Food

Small but sufficient shop with lots of delicious food and sweets. You can buy poultry, chicken, fish, salads, fruits and vegetables. They offer variety of sandwiches and prepared foods. Also you can find a bit of cleaning and washing products, and other necessities there. The staff are very helpful and nice too.

If you don’t want to have to think about food shopping and you just want to get it done as quickly and as painlessly as possible, this is the shop for you. The place is run with military precision, the staff are lovely, the fresh produce is always a cut above the other supermarkets, and generally the ready meals are too. The shop is noticeably cleaner than all the other supermarkets in the area. The checkout machines are easy to use and actually work. It’s probably a bit more expensive than going to Sainsbury’s but it’s worth it. If you can afford it there is just no contest. On this evidence there can be no doubt that M&S is the number one supermarket in the UK.

I have had to start using M&S Simply food stores since the main shop in Broadmead closed back in January (Food and clothing)

The store was clean and well supplied and had most things that you could require from salads, fruit, meats, meal deals to drinks.

All tills are self service which always gets me in a pickle because I usually have a sparks card and a voucher to use - staff on hand to help with this but at the self service tills.

Will either use this or other m&S food stores - always like the quality of the food at M&S

I have used this store a few times to collect things I have ordered online. I cannot fault their service. Very friendly and super fast bringing out my order. So refreshing

Disappointed that the Broadmead store has gone, rather like my statue, so I'm having to shop here instead.

As usual M&S's new store at Stane Park, has the excellent food you expect from them.

Two workers (young guys) squabbling behind cash desk swearing numerous times. Not your average m&s employees. They're letting you down! Not impressed.

It's quite small but has a good range of stuff on offer. Their plant kitchen range is pretty decent despite being confined to only one cabinet. They don't offer much by way of vegan sweets at all, but for savoury food it's quite good.
The produce is fine quality but everything's wrapped in loads of plastic.
