M&S Simply Food

They claim to be open 24 hours. Why is it then that when you want to buy something other than fuel in the early hours, you can’t. The attendant has this little rubbish homemade sign saying “Fuel Only.” How is he able to get away with that? Does BP know about this? This is the only open shop I can go to when I’m working in the early hours, who are they to tell me I can’t buy food and a drink for the day ahead and can only purchase fuel meaning the attendant doesn’t have to walk anywhere or do his job apart from taking payments?! Am appalled by this and can’t be the only person...

States it's open 24 hours, don't be fooled, "due to licensing restrictions they are only allowed to sell fuel overnight."

24 HOUR FOR FUEL ONLY.
The M&S closes around 10:30pm. Attendant claims they can only sell fuel overnight due to “licensing restrictions”.

Says 24h MS food but it’s incorrect. The gas station is 24h not the MS shop. They close around 11PM.
I tried changing the hours so other people don’t go for food after 11PM but it’s not allowing me.

Very bad service from a lady called Lou very rude need to be trained in the correct manner seems like m&s dont really care avoid unless you don't mind abuse and a wasted journey wish I had viewed the reviews before driving 6 miles at 4am in the morning for a wasted journey thanks m&s and lovely customer service...

M&S and BP service station mix. As a result the selection is more limited compared to the M&S in the town centre, a 10 minute walk away.

There's a large car park next door with pay and display, so if driving, this is a good bet.

I've seen some comments about the staff, I used to live around the corner which meant I was here daily, and I never experienced any issues.

24 hour garage. Doesnt allow the sale of soft drinks or food at 11.45 pm. They said its due to licensing but I find that hard to believe as every service station would not be open after a certain time.
