Called in for lunch Thursday. the roast chicken dinner was very nice and good value for the price. However there was a 30 minute wait but we had a nice pot of tea whilst waiting

Nice location beside the Docks. Good place for a wholesome shopping weekly groceries. It is very closely located to other businesses so makes it an easier way to handle the hustle of doing all at once.

Woeful experience in the cafe.
Queued for a hot drink to be told I had to pay for it first. Queued up to pay for my drink as well as drinks and food for my children and was left waiting for about 10 minutes as no one manned the till. I left after one member of staff appeared to tell us they were busy and would serve soon, another appeared started clearing tables and ignored the 6 person queue.
Left without buying anything - staff clearly can't or don't want to serve customers. Can't comment on the food because I couldn't buy anything and would struggle to find a reason to come back.

I love the selection and quality of the food here, but I was very disappointed when the fresh food counter (they call it “the oven”) stopped giving customers sauce!!! The BBQ sauce used to be so nice. All they do now is the typical sauce (like ketchup) and garlic mayo. Also, the chips were a bit soggy and lacking flavour but the chicken nuggets were great.
Other than that it’s a great shop.

Improved entrance and foyer means you're not walking into a funeral home before you do your shopping anymore. I like the fact that there's flowers on display and you've got space to move around freely. The makeover of the supermarket is a lot better, a bit more modern than a year ago, but you'll still be able to find everything.

Sadly, quite a lot of the brain-dead staff are still there. Still unwilling to help, still taking forever to serve you. Get rid of them and replace them with people who actually want to do their jobs, and it'll be the best supermarket in town.

It's alright keeping beer and wine prices down for Christmas. But more men would encourage there partners to go to your supermarket if the prices remained lower all year

Well stocked shelves, tidy and clean.
Some staff need reminding of the pandemic and stop imposing people to be close contact with each other when queuing, distancing still required. Employ more staff and then customers can have a better experience.
However, I found this fab dairy free desert before Christmas, I only hope they continue to stock this post festive season.

Horrendously busy but then it is only 3 days from Christmas. Absolutely massive though, the biggest supermarket I've ever been in I think.
