Tesco Express

It's a Express store so not as many discounts as the main stores but it as everything that you run out off, the staff are the best bunch from the cleaner to the manager.

Staff always friendly and helpfull.

Store clean and tidy, aisles accessible.

Very stressful visit due to no control of social distancing. There were one way arrows on the floor which lead you straight back out the door and noone was following anyway, no limit to how many people were allowed in the store, the queuing area didn't make sense and there was no clear queue for either manned tills or self-scan and once you're at the till there is no way to get back out without having to walk back through the queue. I feel the company and store management need to do more to keep their colleagues and customers safe.

Staff at the bpool rd Ashton/lea really helpful

Dude came out of this store to ask my husband whose baby he was holding and why he was holding her "like that". He was holding her like a normal toddler and she was holding onto him nice and calm???

I'm going to go as far as to say I honestly do not think the dude was concerned about child safety in the slightest. Came off more like he was weird and creepy.

I just recently moved, and as such I have no fridge freezer or oven, just a microwave. Spoke with Mel yesterday and explained my situation and asked if it would be possible if I could buy one of the 2 for £5 or £6 chilled microwave meals, take one home and leave the other one behind to pick up today. She was so lovely and said that was fine. She has helped make my stressful week less stressful, and I hugely appreciate it x
