Always shop here when I come to Stroud. Staff so friendly on the tills always up for a chat. Produce always good standard and a good selection. Shelves stocked well. Boxes at end of till if needed. Prices compatible to other stores.

I found everything I needed, the staff was very lovely, however the young girl at the till hesitated to accept my non UK ID as I purchased some alcohol; at the Lindt stand (where you pick and mix your favourite flavours 🤤) there were no more boxes for 8 chocolates, therefore I used a box for 14 but had 8 chocolates. At the till, the girl suggested it's better if I get 14 chocolates, as the barcode on the box will charge me for 14 😃 with the help of another member of staff the correct barcode was found. I was amused rather than annoyed but I think that the staff could be trained better.

I was very impressed they have this large middle eastern, asian spices. To my knowledge no other supermarket has a big a section as this. I was only looking for this as i was cooking 'kawkswe' Burmeese chicken noodle soup, which needed gram flour for the right concistency

It's smaller than most Sainsbury's so can't get everything here. But there is an Argos. Good range of toys and flowers. Homeware is reasonable. Almost no TU clothing. There is a bakery.

A couple of things I buy regularly we're unfortunately out of stock - this happens quite often for these items and of course there is no way that the shop automatically knows customers actually want them and are having to go elsewhere. I should write to them!

On the whole well stocked and good selection of quality goods, food and drink. Clothes are not such good quality as they used to be though
