I was ok with it at first. Then, I noticed the huge lack of basic products. I realise that it's a local Sainsbury's but running out of Evian Water for so long and when brought back it was more expensive, while the same product in the nearby super markets remained at the same price, is totally unacceptable. That was just an example of course I barely find anything there, limes if you are lucky they recently reduced the cheese selection (it wasn't even that big to begin with). Basically if you like something and you take it from Sainsbury's and it runs out, you will never find it again there. If you do take pride for the quality and essense of your supermarket, make sure things like that not to happen because your costumers pay a good amount of money to be your costumers.

I would just like to say that Jon who currently works in Sainsbury's Commercial Road is a bloody good guy. Always helpful and has the most outstanding customer service. You're lucky to have him Sainsbury's.

Good for quick small shopping like every other local supermarkets.

However my gripe with them is staff can be unhelpful, trip hazards majority of the time and i do understand you have to do stocking up during opening hours but please make it a safe environment before doing so.

Drinks shelf always dead and empty.....Most of shortage of staff and massive long queue due to shortage of staff members.

Received very poor customer service today despite having had positive experiences in my local shop for many years. Despite being 35, obviously above the legal drinking age, and having proof of ID (scan of passport, scan of driving licence) on my phone, I was refused buying a small 5% alcohol can of G&T!!! I never had any such experience in the past anywhere, and found it absolutely shocking. I will file a formal complaint about this as well. I might be wrong, but this felt like being discriminated against by someone that does not drink alcohol for religious reasons and so goes out of their way to stop others, rather than following the legitimate "Challenge 25" government strategy.

It's surprisingly large compared to other Sainsbury's Local store, it wasn't too busy. There is a good range of items here for convenience. I noticed that the shelves were being stocked and replacement items.

Sadly declining store. Used to have good helpful staff and was kept clean and tidy. Now consistently messy aisles, dirty floors and security that does nothing when customers are approached by beggars.

To top it off I recently purchased a pot of sour cream that was 20 days past it's use by date. When i returned to warn they had out of date products they could not have cared less and were rude in the process. I wasn't even asking for a refund despite it ruining £20 of food and an hour of my time cooking a meal.
