The freshly opened chicken is so often out of date and still sold as valid that I wonder if you even try to check it’s validity in anyway or if you are just having a laugh. Disgraceful, imagine that I was shopping at sainsburys for couple of years, what a mistake

Horrible service and no care for customer at all. I find really hard to pay for my stuff at self check out because of the load. There is always only one person at till and takes literally 5-10mins with customers not caring at all for the queue. At self check out bags are not available and when you ask for one at the staff responsible for self check out area tell yous you to go grab it at the main till. I do not understand what these staff are hired for when they’re not serving customers properly with simple things like providing bags or be easily pay for their stuff and leave!
Get it together - honestly this is really disappointing for Sainsbury!!

Very handy small store with all the essentials. Freshly baked panini bread and croissants are delicious (+ best bananas in town)!

Customer service is friendly. It's just that sometimes it's under-staffed and with so many self-checkout machines, you may need to be a little patient if things don't scan and you need human help.

Chronic lack of staff at self-service makes queuing unnecessarily long. Staff are constantly juggling manning the self-service checkouts with loading shelves on the other side of the shop. Whenever they leave the area the queue piles up again until they eventually get called back - particularly problematic when people are trying to buy items that require 5 mins to get age-checked. Would be much better if either (1) they had one person constantly manning the tills or (2) approvals could be made from the main tills like in Tesco where they figured this out years ago.

This is getting unreasonably expensive now. So many things are shooting up in price and it's all branded goods. I wish there were more cheaper own brand goods.

Staff lovely , friendly helpful and chatty. Costa coffee machine inside. Fresh hot food... pizza, sausage in bap...sausage rolls....fresh bakery.

Is it possible to give this place 0 stars? Worst customer service at the counter

Expensive, limited selection of food. Usually quite crowded, and so much booze for no good reason. Better off going to an independent corner store for cheaper prices. The hot food pizza is great when it's open but they close early at random times which is really frustrating. Don't blame the poorly paid staff, but it is annoying when you have a plan and then the information is wrong and it ruins your plan. Not very disabled friendly! Do better.
