A popular shop, very useful for the Moreton Hall estate. Not a great deal of parking but I usually walk. It’s walking distant from work also.
Excellent shop with most things you need and great to have on your doorstep.

I went in to buy some bits today and nearly bought some veg. But noticed that a packet of courgettes had mod growing on it! I i put back the veg. I'd picked up, bought my other bits, informed the staff of this and left.

I went back later to get something i'd forgotten and thought they would have taken out and rotten veg....big mistake! I bought some peppers and when i got home I found they were rotting!

Needless to say I binned them and will not be buying fresh produce from them again! Next time I will shop at the local sainesburys which while a little durther away, has never sold me rotting food!

It's nice to have them be close by but I'm not sure what time staff is meant to be preparing to open as the baked items are neveeeerrr ready anywhere near open time. Will it be 40 minutes later? 50? Makes it really hard to stop by otw to work. If they were more reliable with putting goods out on time they'd get so much more pre-work traffic. But if you're short on time and absolutely need to grab breakfast otw in I'd go elsewhere.
* We're at 1hr and 22 mins in today. They managed to just now put out 4 /12 baked items 🤦🏾‍♀️

Absolutely will not be using click and collect here again. Man who served me was so rude I couldn't believe I was spoken to in such an appalling manner. I'm obviously used to the Newmarket vlick and collect system and manners.

Edit: lowering stars as they still never have cold coffee or many meal deals choices and the fact milk had gone up 40p in 6 months.

Great location always got nice deals on. Would be 5 star but there's been broken glass outside for over a month now.

Been here many times but suddenly none of my cards work. Nobody knows why. Had to leave all my groceries behind after several attempts and visits to various atms.

I moved here 3 years ago and this place was buzzing with friendly and helpful staff, fast moving queues and check out staff packing items for you at the till. Today I had a bag thrust at me to pack own items (I don't mind packing my own groceries, but it has been a friendly gesture before which helped to keep the queue times down and is now difficult for customers to do because of the plastic screens). There is rarely more than one staff member at the tills, who also has to attend to the 2 other self checkouts, whilst the rest of the staff are seemingly stocking shelves or are nowhere to be seen. A few times another checkout has been opened after a staff member has FINALLY rung the bell, only to have the staff member serve one or two customers before disappearing again, leaving the one member to a long remaining queue. The staff turnover seems to be high as rarely do I recognise a face in there anymore. The store has also taken on some postage duties despite there being a post office just around the corner, which further holds up the one manned checkout of 5. Hoping that things will improve.
