Waitrose & Partners Caterham

a well stocked supermarket with plenty of variety. it has it's own parking which is free for 1.50 hours, just be mindful though as it is very narrow to get between the floors. conveniently situated in the centre of the town.

I wanted to say huge thank you to an amazing senior Waitrose staff in Caterham Guy and Sharon for being so prompt in organising me help to change my flat tyre whilst being stuck in a Waitrose car park!!Much appreciated x

In the evenings the only option for checkout is often the self service tills.
They do not work and customers are left standing waiting for help to checkout. Often the whole row of customers at the self service tills is waiting for help, with no assistance and no staff member in sight. The young staff on duty do not seem to care or to be supervised adequately. Other staff have told me openly that the self service tills do not work so it is very poor customer service to persist with them.

Everytime I order something is missing or damaged, this store is always particularly bad for this and nobody seems that bothered about it. I won’t order again.

Nothing to comment about Waitrose and shopping experience. It's same quality and experience as any other Waitrose shops. I got everything I needed and was not super busy. Staffs were polite and extremely helpful. What I liked was how easy it was to access the shop and parking facilities. Free parking in a Multilevel car park, LG and G floor for Waitrose and I believe level 1 for rail users/commuters. Parking is free for 1.5 hrs.

DO NOT ORDER FROM DELIVEROO. I REPEAT DO NOT ORDER. They were unable to deliver the right goods to me. Instead I received someone else’s order and the driver said I have to accept it either way and that he couldn’t notify the branch. This has happened for the 3rd time now and is quiet frankly a joke. Shouldn’t offer a service you are unable to provide.

I do like this store but it can sometimes get a bit too busy for my liking however that is expected. Personally I really like the personal touch in the way that when the staff get to know you a bit or they've seen you in the store before they will say hi and anything they can to help you out. I feel like this is Waitrose & Partners' particular way of showing they value you as a customer...and it makes a difference.

This store has adequate space in the multi-storey car-park for Waitrose customers only - but non waitrose customers parking there too potentially reduces the no.of spaces available.. Be careful though as there is a system in place to stop non waitrose customers parking here (I'm not currently sure what) but I've known people to get fines and tickets.

Waitrose customers get a certain amount of time free parking in the carpark - I couldn't tell you how long at the moment.

Overall I find the store to be clean, well laid out and with a good selection of stock.

The staff are always willing to help... it would be helpful if the number of staff serving at the checkouts were to be increased at certain times though...

As ive noticed there are times when only one or two checkouts are open, so the queue at those checkouts are too long & take quite some time ~ it's something that's more or an issue if (like myself) you have chronic pain or an invisible illness as standing in any queue for a long period of time will only exacerbate this type of chronic condition.

This is a problem that occurs pretty much everywhere, but its definitely something that could do with being looked in to.

Good Waitrose, not the biggest but had good selection, most veg and meat, fish options. Spices and herbs good. Fresh bread etc. Large wine, beer and spirits section. Good parking and easy access to Caterham town center
