Some time ago in 2016 my engine suffered £800 worth of damage as a result of “contaminated fuel”, and the last fill up was at this service station. Of course, this cannot be absolutely proven, but was very likely to have been the source in my mind, not least having no further problems - since due to price alone I shop elsewhere. This is a place that rushes through and sticks with their own hike in fuel price increases, but is extremely slow to reduce them when the base prices fall, as is happening right now.

Very rude staff on a couple of occasions... they seem very happy to say comments when leaving the shop... been a customer for a long time but will venture to new places in the future as cannot stand poor customer service

My experience here actually changed the course of my life.I now have personally given birth to 8 kids and run a BnB with my wife and her boyfriend. It started when I dropped a wine bottle(ALL BECAUSE OF THE TERRIBLE ARCHITECTURE! hence the 4 stars!) An employee (ethnicity not to be disclosed) gave a kind of negative vibe to me, my brother and my other brothers girlfriend when he was cleaning it up (IT'S YOUR JOB). We didn't have to pay(THANKFULLY, AS IT WAS THEIR FAULT). The cashier was a tall handsome approachable Caucasian male (ethnicity not to be disclosed) . He seemed to be confused with our relation but it all turned out fine.

The store always seems disorganised, trolleys blocking the alsile or staff standing on the front of fridges stocking up, right at peek times. Costa machine was filthy on my visit and Karen and her children running riot around shop touch everything in sight.

Always great to get cheap petrol locally as well as Tesco produce. I just wish all the staff spoke better English

I suggested to the duty manager this morning (01/10/2021) that he put up a sign at the entrance to say no fuel. When I arrived one car after another was driving in, realised that there was no fuel, and then queued to leave, wasting fuel in the process and also wasting their time. I was very disappointed that he did not regard this as necessary and simply replied that he was waiting for some signs to arrive over the weekend. I suggested that he could so easily make a sign in order to stop one car after another from driving in (people see empty pumps and obviously assume that they have fuel) but he was not at all interested in my suggestion.

It's been completely rebuilt and I think it's going to be a big game changer for the local community moto and pedestrian alike.
